Beautiful, lovely, peaceful place on acres of land with huge live oaks, wildflowers, and a nice little pond. And Margaret is such a gracious and accommodating host, despite difficulties with ******* misunderstanding our communications!

We were looking for a quiet place to stay over the 4th of July. Our rescue dog gets panic stricken over fireworks so this was the perfect place to stay. The grounds are beautiful with lots of green and 100 plus yr. old oak trees. I would like to go back when the weather is cooler.

Excellent place to relax with your spouse, grandkids and dog. We stayed a couple of nights in the Chief and enjoyed the property tremendously. Large oak and pecan trees, picturesque pond and lots of green grass for the kids and dog to roam on. Well stocked kitchen (very well stocked) if you want to cook. Air conditioning work great even with the 100F days we had. Will be back.
