We had a persistently howling and barking dog in the room adjacent to ours that started at 10:00pm. We were all awakened by the dog, and called the front desk for help. They immediately promised to come up and take care of the dog…Thirty minutes later, we called again, and were promised they were trying to find the owner. Forty five minutes later, my spouse dressed and went down to the front desk. He was met with an eye roll and a promise to try again to find the room occupant. The dog’s owner was found less than 100’ from the front desk, in the hot tub, after it was supposed to be closed. He was so drunk by the time he got upstairs, he tried to enter our room instead of his own, despite the continued vocal pleadings of his dog.
Our key cards to the room had to be reprogrammed daily…whether they were left in our wallets or on the desk in the room.
The eggs at the breakfast buffet were more gray than yellow every morning.
The water in the hot tub was murky, stunk, and had a ridiculous amount of foam. It was obviously not being cared for.
Lastly, don’t expect a hot shower. It’s like warm at best, no matter how long you let it run.
This was by far one of the worst hotel stays I’ve ever experienced.
