皇家酒店(The Royal Hotel)

We were blown away by the very high standard of service at the hotel. From the welcome we received on check in, bar staff and restsurant staff. Nothing was too much trouble. Ventnor is lovely and the grounds of the hotel are kept beautifully. Dinner was delicious as was breakfast, which we were lucky enough to take outside in the garden. I can't wait to go back and visit the hotel again.

The Royal Hotel in Ventnor is the perfect venue for weddings. The location, the setting and the all important professional staff all make for a perfect day. In May 2024 I attended a family wedding at The Royal and I can truly say it was a magnificent day. On the day of the wedding the hotel and gardens looked fantastic, the food which includes canapés, the wedding breakfast and later evening buffet was fabulous, prepared, cooked and served to the highest standards. The all essential hotel staff made the whole wedding experience exceptionally easy, and that includes Dan M who managed the front of house throughout the day, Maria who led our Bride & Bride Groom through the pre-wedding event coordination and maintained a very watchful eye throughout the day, and not forgetting the whole front of house team who served the drinks and waited at the tables, all very professional and operated smoothly without fuss or flourish. And of course not forgetting the back of house team especially to the Chefs, and kitchen staff. Thank you all for making the day special not only for the newly weds but also for all of us who attended. I am very happy to recommend The Royal Hotel as a wedding and event(s) venue. Keep up the excellent work and maintain those very high standards. Thank you.

A relaxing stay with marvellous staff. Excellent food and service. Hotel somewhat outdated.but this added to an enjoyable stay. .

Reliably high quality service from excellent engaging and friendly staff. Food quality and choices available at breakfast and dinner are excellent. Ask for a room with a view - you won't be disappointed!

We are regular vacationers at The Royal and this time around had decided to get married there. The wedding itself went flawlessly, superbly organised by Maria and fabulously supported by the ever wonderful staff. Price, too, was terrific - excellent value for money. They really did do a fantastic job all-round. Outside of the wedding, we managed a bit of regular vacation time and the hotel as ever was marvellous. Staff, including Caroline, Dan, Madeline, Janice and many others were all terrific - the hotel itself is very nice, and full of character... but the staff and service really make it. Food as ever was gorgeous.

Food as always excellent and well presented. Staff very friendly and attentive. We had a lovely room with sea view. Good location for exploring the island.
