阿諾斯莊園酒店(Arnos Manor Hotel)

We had the loveliest time here the staff were so lovely and friendly. It was about a 30 minute walk into town and if you are travelling into town at rush hour walking is the best way as the traffic was pretty bad. The room we stayed in was beautiful and clean and tidy and we were blown away by the service from the staff it really was lovely infact I was shocked to find they were part of a group and not independent as it felt the kind of service you would get from an independent. The bar and restaurants were lovely and the building was so beautiful inside and out we had a really lovely stay toiletries were provided and they smelt beautiful. thanks so much we had a lovely time.

The hotel is about 2 miles from the city centre and offers free parking (unlike many central hotels, which charge £10-15 overnight). I waited over 10 minutes for someone to arrive at reception to check me in- the lovely lady from the bar noticed me waiting and tried to radio someone. When they finally appeared there was no apology but a brisk check in, no mention of breakfast or amenities. The hotel overall is quite an attractive historic building but the rooms are rather run down. Mine had a radiator with screws pulled out of the wall, very squeaky floor boards and very uneven lino in the bathroom. The room was overly warm but not coming from the radiators, so not possible to turn down. Unfortunately there were noisy roadworks outside during the night- no fault of the hotel - but it would have been nice to have put guests away from the area while they are taking place if possible. I stay in Bristol regularly and will not be staying here again, it was overpriced for what it was.

This hotel is very much dated and needs a good make over, I have stayed in much better properties and at cheaper rates. Breakfast was help yourself and served up until 10am but had to wait 20 minutes for warm food to be put out. Very disappointing stay for £145, not worth it

We had a really disappointing stay. An hour after getting there the whole of the ground floor flooded with water and it smelt disgusting. There were unmopped areas left with buckets on show in the toilets. The staff were really unfriendly showing a lack of interest when trying to order food, saying things were unavailable then changing their mind and saying they are suddenly available? Not wanting to bring starters a mains at the same time….. we only ordered pizza, chicken wings and calamari rings!! He reluctantly agreed, but looked at me strangely? The hotel overall really did need a good paint as it felt quite run down and dirty. It’s not somewhere we will be staying again unfortunately

Check in was OK if you omit the £20 levy I had to pay. No problem as they said it would be recredited to my card at checkout the next morning. On checking out, was told, I couldn't have it and would be back in my account within a week. Someone has lied to me and it won't happen again.

Was really happy with the stay really nice hotel only problem we had was the room was really warm the radiator was on and we could turn it off as the dial was broke other than the room being to warm we had a really nice stay would definitely book again and would definitely recommend to others

We've stayed here a few times and each time it gets worse. This time, the bath tap (hot) was coming off of the bath and just span around. Bar closes quite early for a hotel. Toilet roll had black marks on it. Check in was an ordeal. Room 168 has a small window VERY high up and the ceiling comes down lower than it, making the room dark. I dont think well be staying here again.

Hotel staff were professional, welcoming the room Was clean little old fashioned but the bed was very very comfortable that’s all that matters had great night sleep ! Only whinge could do with double glazing quite lot traffic noise but still slept well
