本迪之家酒店(Hotel Bundi House)

Nous avions réservé il y a plusieurs mois, en direct puisque nos enfants y avaient séjourné et avaient été très satisfaits...les avis d'autres voyageurs allaient dans ce sens. En fait, nous nous sommes retrouvés seuls clients dans une maison en plein travaux. Selon le propriétaire, il s'était mis un point d'honneur a finir au moins notre chambre pour honorer notre réservation. Tout était sale, poussiéreux, les draps et serviettes de toilette très douteux (nous les avons fait changer), la vaisselle du petit déjeuner aussi...,Le roof top en plein désordre avec un sol tellement poisseux que nos chaussures y restaient collées ! Et tout ça dans l'indifférence et la nonchalance des propriétaires. Le prix lui est resté le même qu'aux heures fastes de l'établissement, plus élevés d'ailleurs que le reste de la ville. Nous avons écourté notre séjour et sommes partis sans aucune excuse du propriétaire. Attendez donc des avis positifs RÉCENTS avant de réserver....

Ancienne maison, pleine de charme très bien gérée par une équipe jeune et dynamique. Nous avons eu un seul regret ne pas être resté plus longtemps... Un grand merci !! tout particulièrement au cuisinier, qui met tout son coeur pour vous offrire le meilleur de sa cuisine, un délice et un moment de partage extrat !!

The staff are friendly, welcoming, and speak excellent English. The menu is varied. Spacious room with a charming antique vibe. Super comfortable bed. And perhaps the best bathroom I've seen in India. Great water pressure from a rainfall showerhead, lots of space and they even had toilet paper! The place is very well located to explore all the sights of Bundi. Excellent value as well. I highly recommend.

Outstanding hotel I was staying at another place in Bundi and decided to move to this hotel after eating at the restaurant and meeting the staff. The hotel is very nice, tastefully decorated, quiet, with a beautiful view of the countryside. The room was perfectly equipped and very clean. The most cosy I had after 6 months of travel in India. The food was delicious. Thank you very much to the Master Tiger, who in addition to being an excellent cook, is a very nice person. He showed me how he prepared his chai, so good compared to the ones I tasted before. The whole hotel staff is very friendly, attentive, helpful and available. I laughed a lot and had a wonderful stay with them. I absolutely recommend for a relaxing stay, surrounded by lovely locals for company and for the fabulous food! I will be back soon

Definitely one of my favourite place in India! My heart got heavy when I had to leave. It felt like home and the hosts were so nice and welcoming like a family. Bonus on the large and very comfortable beds. The rooms are pretty. The rooftops were so cool and the food really delicious. The entire place is beautiful and if you pay attention to the wonderful paintings, just know that you can meet the artist as he is one of the hosts. I cannot wait to go back!

The location is good, the room was pretty much fine. The a**osphere here is very relaxing and helps you unwind after a tiring day of walking around in the town visiting tourist attractions. Danish and his team are always there to sort your queries/ any assistance you may require. It's a decent place to stay when visiting Bundi.

Amazing heritage hotel. Beautiful place and beautiful and calm surroundings by the lake. Excellent host and wonderful cook Mohamed Tiger who cooks with local fresh ingredients. It is the place to stay in Bundi and the best rooftop restaurant in the city.

While staying in Udaipur, we met Shahruk from Fame Boutique. He recommended that we stay at Hotel Bundi House. This is probably the best place to stay in Bundi. From the rooftop, you have a nice view on Bhoraji Ji Ka Kund and the hills. You can see monkeys and tortoises. Bundi can be overwhelming at times because there is a lot of traffic in the center. But at Bundi House, you can enjoy the quietness. Staff is very friendly and hospital, especially our good friend Muhammad Tiger. The owner, Shanu, is also very nice and helpful. They have a beautiful rooftop restaurant where they serve good food and cold beer. They also play nice and relaxing music which we like a lot. The room was neat and clean.

While Bundi is a calm, tranquil retreat in an otherwise hectic, chaotic India, Hotel Bundi House offers you the possibility of a further reprieve, your choice of a serene, relaxing oasis. The hotel is on the edge of the town, but is still only a short walk to the Palace and Fort and the markets are readily accessible. On the other hand if you’ve had enough tranquillity, then engaging in lively conversation with the ***ager/owner Mr Shanu, or the chef, Tiger, be prepared to be informed, entertained and sometimes challenged all in the one exchange. Engage with local strong boy, Mr Durga Sanker, the hotel’s “go-to” *** and you might gain some pearls of local knowledge, but have patience. Mr Shanu is generous with his time and is happy to offer suggestions for your visit to Bundi and beyond, and Bundi has lots to offer. Check out the Go Bundi booklet for ideas. The haveli style hotel could be described as boutique, with 10 comfortable rooms but there are plans for renovations and extensions. Rooftop is the Baori View Restaurant which consistently ranks highly in tourist reviews and provides delicious meals thanks to Tiger the chef. All-in-all, a wonderful visit to Bundi would be enhanced with a stay at Hotel Bundi House.
