Our stay at Corazon Cabo was more of a nightmare than a dream vacation, so much so that we ended up cutting our trip short.
The hotel’s tasteful decor and prime location initially seemed to promise an idyllic stay. However, the reality turned out to be quite different, and not in a good way.
We were subjected to an intense, incessant push for a timeshare presentation, which felt more like a scam than a genuine opportunity. Despite declining on numerous occasions (well into double digits), the sales pressure from the hotel staff was relentlessly intrusive, turning our supposed relaxing getaway into a stressful experience.
The deception didn’t stop there. When we tried to book an activity through the hotel, we discovered that they attempted to charge a higher price than listed, and once again, tried to rope us into their timeshare program. These unscrupulous practices left us questioning the hotel’s business integrity.
Further dampening our experience was the hotel’s decision to turn off the AC in the common areas during periods of low occupancy. This cost-cutting measure, carried out without consideration for guest comfort on sweltering hot days, was a glaring indication of the hotel’s disregard for guest experience.
Room comfort was another area where Corazon Cabo failed to meet expectations. Despite the visual appeal of the room, we were plagued with a leaky shower that led to a persistently damp bathroom floor - an inconvenience that felt even more egregious given the high per-night cost of the room.
Given the host of disappointments we experienced at Corazon Cabo, we ultimately decided to cut our trip short and change our flight to head home a day early. This was an unfortunate conclusion to a vacation that had promised so much.
In summary, while Corazon Cabo might lure in guests with its attractive facade and desirable location, our stay was marred by persistent, high-pressure sales tactics, questionable business ethics, and a disregard for guest comfort. Until these serious issues are addressed, I would strongly recommend prospective visitors to look elsewhere for their stay in Cabo.
Perfect location and friendly staff. We recently stayed for a week with a party of 12. The rooms are a little older, but the grounds are pristine. The food was also pretty good. Lots of activities, and good drinks. Concierges Adrian and Dago really make things easy and regularly checked on us making sure we got i to the shuttle for our activities and checked in at the right place for the boat. The resort really cares about safety too. My father-in-law left his bag in a taxi and because they track who comes and goes, they were able to find the taxi driver and we got his bag back. We were also celebrating graduations, and Anniversary and birthdays and they went the extra mile to make everyone feel special. You can also travel in a free shuttle between their properties to enjoy the amenities at each. All Inclusive is the way to go here. ❤️ The brackets now also serve as a Room key. That was nice.
I should start by saying that I was here on business and did not book this hotel myself, it was chosen for me. The first night we checked in was fine, although the room was cold even after we turned the air conditioning off. The next day was when it really got bad. Just as I jumped out of the shower the room to my door opened! They had given another couple the key to my room to check in! I got dressed and went to the front desk only to be told that the room numbers are very confusing and it wouldn’t happen again!? I had all of my work equipment in the room (most of which didn’t fit in the safe), what would have happened if I wasn’t there and people had free access to everything in my room?? Not to mention if I was sleeping etc… I didn’t feel safe from that moment on. That night around 10pm the bar next door started blasting music. It was so loud I could actually feel the vibrations. This lasted until 5am! The hotel staff suggested ear plugs, white noise did not drown It out. We are going on our third night tonight and I honestly can not wait to get out of here but unfortunately we don’t check out for 2 more days. The pros: the hotel itself is clean and walking distance to everything.

DDeparture58045985709I stayed here for 5 days and the staff was so accommodating. The restaurant served great food and the premises were very clean. The only thing I would say is the bed was a bit too hard for my liking but still a great stay overall. The location is a good 15 minute walk from the Marina and tons of little bars and restaurants along the path. If you have a hard time sleeping with street traffic you may consider that as a drawback but it was like white noise for me, I slept well. I would definitely stay here again.
Had a harrowing experience at OYO Hotel Plaza Las Torres in Cabo San Lucas – an urgent warning for fellow travelers. We booked a stay, requested a one-day reservation change due to unforeseen issues. Upon arrival, shock awaited us – the hotel charged the full fee for the new date, demanding the remainder without clear communication. Front desk staff, struggling with English and relying on Google Translate, suggested seeking a refund from *******. *******, however, revealed the hotel's responsibility for charges. In the scorching heat, over an hour of frustration ensued, with repeated pleas for assistance met with silence until insisting on restroom use. Misleading charges, unhelpful staff, and a refusal to refund make OYO Hotel Plaza Las Torres an experience I wouldn't wish on any traveler. Besides all of this the description says the hotel is close to downtown but once you arrive you notice you’re at least a 20 minute walk from the edge of downtown and seems to make you feel uneasy with the amount of misinformation and the disinterest to help.
