聖馬力諾旅館(Hostel San Marino)

I’m going to make this as fair as possible despite the poor rating. This hostel is good value for money if you want to spend the night in San Marino on a budget. The staff were also friendly and helpful. We had a large room for just the two of us. However, the sheets were quite grainy with dirt. The shower room is very close to flooding every time you use the shower. Although the location seems near to the centre of San Marino, we came quite late so had to walk to the top. This really was a struggle as it’s such a steep slope all the way up, so although the location is good for being near a bus stop, if the buses aren’t running it’s quite a strain (45 minute walk on extreme incline). If you’re staying on a Saturday then be wary of the fact the hostel is above a nightclub. However, the reason I have rated this so low is the strange “breakfast”. It specifies breakfast is included but when we went to the kitchen we weren’t sure what was meant to happen. We hadn’t been told the night before. Nothing was laid out or put aside. I’m not sure if you just raid the cupboards and eat whatever but I don’t really feel comfortable doing that in a communal kitchen. There was no one around to ask so we walked to a cafe round the corner. I think offering a service and not providing it is quite poor. The hostel was almost empty so maybe that’s why there had been a lack of instruction and an awkward atmosphere.

Se si cerca una camera, un punto d’appoggio, solo per dormire e si vuole spendere poco, non si hanno pretese, si ha un po’ di spirito di adattamento, vista la spesa! Va benissimo! Per una comitiva o famiglia numerosa 7/8 persone è l’ideale! Il personale è cortese, molto disponibile a dare consigli turistici! Le camere sono pulite!

C'è un circo davanti (molto felliniano), al primo piano uno stabile totalmente abbandonato (forse una ex discoteca?). Salendo in ascensore al secondo piano c'è un tanfo imbarazzante. Ambienti comuni disordinati e sporchi, stanza abbastanza pulita (camerata da 8). Rimangono tuttavia inaccettabili la condizioni pessime di questa struttura (sporcizia, disordine, non curanza). Personale cordiale che oltre a gestire l'ostello gestisce il pub annesso. La struttura - che da fuori sembra un lurido motel - affaccia sulla strada che porta al centro storico. Per arrivare a San Marino occorre prendere una corriera o andarci in macchina o taxi.

我已經在旅館旅行和住了大約十年，但是聖馬力諾唯一的旅館糟糕的服務和設施確實讓我大吃一驚。我們剛好下午1點到，剛想放下沉重的包包，工作人員說“沒有人告訴她我們會到”——嗯，我們訂了兩個地方……只有一個廁所和一個為所有客人淋浴，這根本不夠。最重要的是，兩者都非常骯髒和發臭。我們在那裡住了幾個晚上，但我不明白老闆是誰，因為接待處大部分都是空的。

I called during August to book a bed, as soon as she understood my foreign accent she told me that she would call me back with her private number, and after booking the room she told me to confirm it by e-mail, The "Reservation of the room" made by mobile, is considered by the owner of the hostel as "Advice", therefore with a surcharge of "12 €" in addition to the price of the bed.

First the positives: Very friendly and helpful owner, basic, clean and fairly comfortable rooms, located near the bus stop (for Rimini or San Marino centre), supermarket nearby, fast food restaurant below which sells tasty piadine (open for lunch and dinner). Negatives: Not much around the area and need to walk along the side of road to get anywhere (no pavements, dangerous). Bus finishes early evening (not the hostel’s fault of course!) so you won’t have much to do in the evening in this area.

Il rapporto qualità prezzo è assulatamente favorevole, come la cortesia dei gestori. La stanza era pulita e in ordine, il bagno riservato e la presenza del condizionatore molto gradita. Utile l'ampia sala comune (di cui non abbiamo usufruito se non marginalmente perchè sempre in movimento, tra escursioni e puntate al mare). Confermo che è stato un piacevole soggiorno.

Abbiamo prenotato un errore quel camera dormitorio, poi cancellato. Pero` non mi rimborsato soldi. Ho perso 200 cento Euro senza stare il soggiorno. Un brutta experianza

The hostel has good Location and Big Kitchen however it cancels the Positive Aspects when you go to sleep and you get bitten by Bed Bugs and Mosquitos ! They do not have nets on the windows. At night the bugs eat you alive!
