Nice room breakfast could have be more variety

The property is very clean with nice rooms and close to the mall. I did love the room and the wonderful full breakfast available. I also loved the breakroom room to eat in it is very nice. The hot tub is nice and hot! I few things there is no elevator (not really a big deal) my wife mentioned. Other than that we enjoyed our short stay here.

Pros: staff were helpful throughout the stay. It was nice to have easy access to the pool and the continental breakfast was what you expect. Location is convenient. Cons: For what I paid, I expected to get what is previewed. I saw into a couple of the exterior access rooms that look nice, updated and spacious, just like advertised. Our room, internal access, was half repainted, small and only partially (and poorly) renovated. The base layer of sheets had really fresh and ?dark coffee stains. A/C was sooo loud and inconsistent. Overall not an overly comfortable stay and varied greatly from what is previewed, all said relative to the premium paid.

It was a convenient location, driving distance to IKEA and T&T - places we wanted to shop. It was close to Heritage Park, one of our destinations in Calgary. The hot tub was great to relax in. Housekeeping staff and front desk staff were all friendly. Parking was adequate, but slightly tight. There were slightly busy times during breakfast hours, but decent breakfast food choices.

In general. The hotel was clean and beds were comfortable. However when we checked in the person at the desk asked if we needed outside room access or if the second floor was ok. We didn’t need it so I said second floor is fine. After checking in I went to bring in our luggage to find out there is no elevator. This should have been brought up at check in. In our room the AC was not functional. Our room was 80 degrees F. So I opened the window but with no breeze that night it was still 76 degrees in the morning. Overall it’s a clean hotel but some controllable factors made the stay not the best

When looking at the property online it looks big and nice and beautiful then you pull up and it’s a motel! It’s dirty on outside it has some big open garbage cans in the parking lot. The one room we stayed in was great. The other room for my parents was not Like the pictures it was no renovated, it smelled of smoke and the carpet was dirty! Just be careful the pictures are deceiving!
