劍橋鐘樓水療酒店(Cambridge Belfry Hotel & Spa)

Unfortunately the room we stayed needs updating . We could not use the pool as very busy with swimming lessons . Book to eat at the restaurant as we were planning to have cocktails . The waiter said they were not serving cocktails which was disappointing for a Friday night. We then saw a group entered the restaurant with cocktails in their hands . We asked the waiter again to confirm and he said yes that’s what he had been told. I then pointed out to him that the group had cocktails . He then came back to say he had got it wrong . So overall not great experience as we decided to eat at the hotel as wanted to have cocktails and have a quiet night .

Overall a very pleasant stay, staff were polite and helpful, restaurant food was very good although the service could have been better, we were left for over 20 mins waiting for the bill and although plenty of staff were about seemed poorly coordinated, tables left uncleared etc, the same for the bar which was understaffed. The spa and pool were ok although changing rooms very small and showers were cold with several out of action.

Nobody on check in when I arrived. There was also a lady waiting to speak to someone too and complained about having no hot water. I found the receptionist at the bar. Checked in fine but then I find out I also have no hot water! Not ideal after a long day working and travelling. Reception couldn’t care less. When I checked out, again they couldn’t care less and didn’t offer any apology never mind anything else. ********** customer service were also useless offering me a tiny credit in USD! We are in the UK! Bed was fine, room was fine. Probably no worse off over the road at the Holiday Inn Express for less money!

We turned up and checked in to a cold room, the bar service was poor, with young people with no care about the service or the food and drinks they were serving, no leadership so they cant be blamed. A heater was put in the room 1 hour before check out.

Fire alarm went off at 10.30. Had to evacuate for anout 30minutes. No explanation/informaton. Ròm was clean but common areas dirty. Restaurnt meal ok but breakfast was chaotic. No cuttlery or cups. Coffee machine temperamental. Barely slept - room stifling hot. Could not open window and no air conditioning in room.

Great hotel, handy location for getting into central cambridge . Breakfast was excellent. Pool looked great and lovely grounds with lake. Loads of parking

I was staying overnight to visit family. The hotel is Absolutely disgusting state and cleaning. Got moved after complaining about bathroom cleaning. 2 bd room worse. Grime mild dust yuk. Carpets are worn and torn up stairways and corridors, stained rooms and side of bath. Mould around shower. I asked to clean it but not better. I drove home and didn’t stay. Disgusting place!

Very old decor, bathroom toilet flush broken, shower very bad condition and outdated. No slippers, towels on request. Spa not welcoming by staff. Barely any staff around

Standards have slipped here. No charging point, no air con in the room, extractor fan didn’t work in the bathroom and no lights outside for the beer garden which is very dangerous as there is a pond with no barrier
