奧沙克湖瑪格麗塔維爾湖度假村(Margaritaville Lake Resort Lake of the Ozarks)

I can’t say enough about how friendly and helpful all the staff was during our stay. Okay here comes the “but”, but I was really surprised at how worn the rooms were. The bathroom door was damaged from previous water damage and the room wasn’t the cleanest. My daughter found a used tissue inside the covers of her bed, after she had slept in the bed for the night. Dusty areas that should have been cleaned. I am a former hotel housekeeper and I really check the cleanliness of the rooms. I realize it’s the off season but it seemed a lot of shortcuts were taken in the room getting cleaned.

Great little place for family friendly weekend. Indoor pool is awesome. Water park is smaller than expected but the kids still had a blast

The views of the lake are great. The rooms are large and comfortable. This is very much a go to when I am here.

I love margaritaville and have stayed in them all over. But it really bothers me to pay a premium rate and almost everything in the facility is shut down. Bars, restaurants, coffee shops all have hours based on acupancy in the hotel.

This place was one of the worst places we’ve ever stayed! The fact that it is a well known name and place our experience was very disappointing to say the least! The room smelt moldy and I noticed a water spot on the ceiling. But they were totally full so there was no switching to a different room. We went down to the tiki bar to get a drink and it was closed. We then tried to go to the indoor water park…and it was closed… So we thought we’d get a pizza and the pizzeria was closed… Everything was closed the entire time we were there! We went to the pool… The only pool that open was this little unkept pool that’s was nowhere near the bar to get a drink and since there are no outside drinks we had to hike up and down the giant hill the resort is located on. We had to ask for towels 4 times before I finally called the front desk on my phone from the pool and the woman said we don’t just bring them to you. All the while their cart people are just driving around the grounds on their golf carts without passengers. The night before we were leaving my husband hear a sound in the corner (where the water spot on the ceiling was) and the whole corner and couch were soaked so I’m guessing they knew about this problem before! They moved us to a bungalow on the water at 10 pm so we had to pack up and drive down there. That was a little better but they acted like it was a huge favor for us. Then said since you booked through ******* there is nothing further we can do for you! Very disappoin

Overall the resort was wonderful. The room was big, well decorated, and very clean. The food was good and reasonably priced for a resort. The water park was fun, but overpriced. I was disappointed that loud music was blaring everywhere and I only heard 3 Jimmy Buffet songs. Our “deluxe lakeside view” was nothing like the website showed, we could basically see a big tree. Guest services weren’t very helpful, there was no explanation about how to navigate through the buildings. I asked if the locker rooms at the water park had locks, and they said they did but didn’t bother to mention you needed a quarter to use them. We had a great time, and would probably come back now that my expectations would be more realistic.

Loved staying here, but got lost a few times with the lobby being on 6th floor. A map in elevator or guide would have solved that problem. Also when I checked in Friday night, I wasn't sure if we could stay an additional night, so I asked what the rate would be and the front desk said the same $174 tax/fees, just call back before 10am.. So I called at 9am to book additional night and the guy said it would be $205 (around that) tax/fees. When I asked why I could get the rate quoted last night, he said that rates change by the hour. I have nver ever heard of that in all my travels. I did what the lady Friday evening said to do and was charged $25-30 more for the night.

We had a brief stay that didn’t include water recreation. Had a great time and customer service was all around excellent!

The resort has a lot to offer. Game room, golf, serveral pools, indoor water park, horse back riding, dining, lake. Great place to bring the family
