No thermostat in room, was in adjoining room . Wouldn’t even cool off w window open. Very nice front desk German fellow tried to help, duct taped a portable air conditioner and was placed in window. Very noisy and ran constantly, I removed it and left window open during the night . Very disappointed with stay.

My stay at Silver Creek Lodge in Canmore was a delightful mountain retreat. The breathtaking setting nestled in the mountains made for a truly memorable experience. Leo's exceptional service and responsiveness enhanced my stay, and the surprise upgrade to a mountain-facing suite added a touch of luxury. While the hallways could use some work, the rooms were in good condition. I would definitely recommend this getaway for anyone seeking a relaxing and scenic escape.

Silver lodge is a good option for families and pets. We had a 2 bedroom suite, 2 bathrooms, full kitchen, balcony. The beds were not the most comfortable and the room temperature could not be adjusted, it was abit too warm. Nice outdoor hot tub and very friendly staff. I would recommend this lodge.

Pros: - Budhi is great, had a really good deep tissue massage - the outdoor hot tubs & steam are lovely as well - underground parking - I stayed in a studio and appreciated the kitchenette Cons: - the units are very loud, I could hear the people above and to the side. I was woken up multiple times. Seems that there is a lack of sound insulation on top of it being wood framed - when I checked into the room it was cold and appreciated using the electric fireplace when needed. When I left for dinner and came back it seems that there must have been heat put on in the unit as it was very warm. I had to open the window and it was still too warm. Made for an uncomfortable sleep for the two nights I was there. Aside from checking into the room upon arrival, I never used the fireplace again.

Very dark. Could hardly find stuff in my suitcase Beds were so hard snd uncomfortable, we both hardly slept and my arms tingled from it Would be nice to have a light over the kitchen sink. The fridge was turned up so high some veggies froze.

Room was a bit dusty on top of fixtures, the fridge, and fire place. We also had a room with a bed that folded up into the wall, so we utilized that, but under the bed we found some garbage, and lots of dust.. you can see the ware on the furniture, and trim. The mattress was also quite uncomfortable, even for a hotel It was also extremely hot, we had the furnace turned right off, and window open, but it was still terribly warm. Definitely had a better experience during prior stays

We needed to book a room for two nights very last minute, and we were so happy that a suite was available here. The property is clean, safe, and quiet. Its near plenty of food options and gas stations. The staff was very friendly and happy to answer any questions we had. There is a restaurant and spa on site as well. The room itself was fabulous! So much space, with a large kitchen (equipped with dishes etc.), and a giant/deep bathtub that was a dream to use. There was plenty of closet space, washer/dryer, humidifier, fan, ironing board etc. Basically anything & everything you would need for a stay - imagine basically a condo. The televisions don't stream any services, but there is cable and a dvd player that you can use. There is free underground parking that you access with your room key, and luggage carts in the parkade near the elevators. The balcony space is large and includes outdoor furniture, AND a view of the mountains. There is currently construction going on next door (looks like a new hotel going in), so the area off to one side didn't look as mountain-pretty but we didn't hear any noise.

The room we had was amazing and spacious. Front desk staff was helpful too, except for room has no AC, we tried to cool down the thermostat but we didn’t felt any change with the temperature.

I don't write reviews as a rule as I have never put much stock in them, but I am going to have to revise my opinion on that. If I had looked at just a handful of reviews we would have booked elsewhere. We booked here as it looked to be a great place to hideaway for a few days and have a nice romantic getaway. However, as pretty as the pictures were, it was so bad we left a day early and gave up a night that cost nearly $300.00. There are so many issues with this place, but I'll only list the top of mind ones. 1. No secure parking. Does advertise secure parking, but someone ran into the door and it's currently lying on the ground. 2. No AC. They had a portable unit, but blew a breaker if you tried to have it and a light on. We just left it off after the second time. 3. THE BED!!! OMG!! No box spring and clearly there should have been as it was not a platform frame. Horribly uncomfortable and what little sleep we did get was met with sore backs the next day. Slept on the sofa bed the 2nd night and it wasn't much better. 4. Best for Last. Dirty. It was just dirty. Dirty dishes. Dusty shelves. moldy tiles. Just gross. The only positive was the check in. The gentleman that checked us in was great and informative. Too bad the rest of the place didn't live up to how truly good he was.
