Montrose House is such a wonderful place to stay. It’s full of old world charm, thoughtfully and creatively decorated by Tommy Jeffs. My room was so comfortable, the furnishings and artworks around the establishment added to the charm. Breakfast was outstanding and I enjoyed a gorgeous buffet lunch with friends during my stay. Tommy is such a wonderful host, generous, funny and warm. Thanks Tommy, I looking forward to my next visit and to your excellent hospitality.

We were a group of 6 on a reunion and were so lucky to have two nights at Montrose House. This is a truly stunning old home, filled with artworks and treasures, comfy rooms with quirky furnishings, great food - the highlight being mine host himself, Tommy Jeffs. Such a warm, welcoming host, nothing was too much trouble and his stories and easy manner made us feel like old friends from the minute we arrived! We quickly discovered he is held in high esteem by the local community too. Spend a few days at Montrose House with Tommy - you will feel you've stepped into another world and you'll want to return - as we definitely will!

What a wonderful Chris**as in July we had at the beautifully decked out Montrose House. Tommy is the host with the most, a must to visit if you’re in the area. A wonderful venue for either a private dinner or function. Thank you Tommy, we’ll be back next year.❤️❤️❤️

We just had a most enjoyable & entertaining ‘long weekend’ at Montrose House, a beautifully restored post Victorian mansion full of interesting & eclectic collectables and decorations. Lovely meal, log fire & glass of red. We particularly enjoyed the hospitality of our host Tommy Jeffs OAM.

Great. This is the same establishment as Montrose House on Riverbank at Canowindra. To get a full picture of how wonderful it is read all reviews off both sites and you'll appreciate how good it is.

My husband and I had a fantastic two nights over the October long weekend for the Canowindra Baroquefest. Tommy was a fabulous host and extremely welcoming, from the cup of tea on arrival to the lavender in our bedroom. Everything was splendid - an amazing house with beautiful furnishings and decor. We thoroughly enjoyed our delicious breakfasts and the sumptuous dinner on Saturday night. We felt very at home and most relaxed. Tommy treated us as one of the family! Great location too, in the centre of town, and easy to get to everything. Highly recommend.

Classy, sensational and stunning stay. There's no one like Tommy Jeffs and Tommy sure knows how to host. Rooms are gorgeous. Food was delicious and so many laughs! Wonderful stay. Highly highly recommend a night under the Milky Way and depending which room you're in you can be in New York or Hollywood or Paris with Canowindra's main street right outside. Our second stay and we'll be back!

Tommy is the absolute host with the most, we had the best weekend in Canowindra hot air ballooning and staying at Montrose house for 2 nights. What made the trip so good was Tommy's hospitality - the nicest bloke you will ever meet who goes out of his way to make you feel welcome and looked after, introducing us to the town, his friends and all the best places to see. Couldn't have asked for more!

Fabulous getaway spot!! We couldn't ask for a better way to rest and just enjoy the ambience of Montrose House all that Canowindra has to offer. Located right in the heart of this gorgeous regional spot Montrose House, and it's host Tommy, make this one of the most enjoyable getaways.
