Enjoyed my stay. My wife is gluten intolerant so every morning they made her an egg breakfast with home fries and bacon. Very accommodating!

Staff is friendly, knowledgeable and professional. For a 125 year old house, it’s in very good shape. Both exterior and interior were nicely decorated for the holidays. Our room had noticeable peeling plaster walls and a cracked window but that didn’t inhibit a good night’s sleep. Towels could be upgraded and softer. Breakfast was plentiful and delicious!

First time visiting Cape May, Booked a few days before the christmas parade weekend without any issue. My girlfriend and I own a home from around the same time period as the dormer house and we have always liked to see the old architectural elements and the Dormer House has plenty - it has many of the original details still preserved in the common areas. Rooms are fine for the age of the building, most (all?) have their own private shower+restroom. Bed was pretty comfortable, and I believe it was recently replaced. They cook the breakfast to order, and it was delicious both days we stayed. The staff was very helpful throughout, Alose close enough to walk to the mall and other shops/ foods

The property is well maintained, clean and the staff were outstanding. If you want a quiet location within walking distance to the beach and shops this is it. Breakfast is also fantastic and prepared once you are I’m ready, not in advance. A

We loved our stay at the Dormer house. The manager did everything to make us feel welcome and comfortable. The Victorian house has a lot of character. Our bedroom was comfortable and spacious. Breakfast was great (strong hot coffee), and the area is so quiet and beautiful. It's just a few walking minute from the center of town with lots of choices for restaurants.

The room is big and clean. Feel safe to walk around the area. Breakfast is nice. Parking is free and easy. But the property facilities are old that could use some remodeling to improve overall conditions.

We had a lovely stay and appreciated the cleanliness and coziness of the Shannon Room. The breakfast was delicious and the location was perfect for walking to the beach and shops.
