Mycket trevligt hotell med allt vad man kan behöva. Fint poolområde och gym. Vårt rum hade sjöutsikt och varje kväll var det fantastiska solnedgångar från balkongen. Vi nyttjade inte deras restauranger men på gångavstånd finns en toppenrestaurang som vi verkligen kan rekommendera "Bimini Bait Shack". Ta gärna en tur till Captiva island, jättefina stränder. Vi åkte även till Fort Myers beach som också var jättetrevlig med en hur lång strand som helst. Det finns fortfarande spår efter stormen 2022 men de håller på och renoverar för fullt. Luktar fukt i rummet när man kommer in.

I don’t quite know where to start, we’ve traveled the world and for some reason hotels just can’t get the basics right. Pictures always look amazing when booking and when you get there you quickly find out that it’s more basic than a ground floor batchelor apartment. Given they are trying to recover from a hurricane from two years ago, however almost finished with building an entire building, whilst neglecting the original building. Heads up, a bathroom makeover doesn’t cut it! Food was below average, (breakfast) no espresso machine, breakfast not included even though it said it was. Parking is charged for at $20 a day ! How and why I can’t understand how you charge your patrons to park in your site !!!! Valet is different, this wasn’t the case. Sadly the entire working half of the hotel overlooks a construction site, and but a beautiful beach as displayed on booking site, talk about over sell and under deliver. When we tried to move rooms and get a better one, we where told no changes can be made to the booking, even with travel insurance option taken. All in all nothing special, will not be back and will not recommend it. Pity because the staff are great ! Hope Marriot picks up their socks on this one, poor performance for a prestige hotel group.

Thank you very much for these 2 wonderful days… We had to cancel one night upon arrival which was no problem at all… We even got an upgrade from a mega-large suite even though we had only booked a standard room… The staff, whether reception, the Bar or restaurant was so incredibly friendly that you thought you were the only guest in this beautiful hotel… It is highly recommended!!!

The Marriott has done a miraculous job cleaning up after Hurricane Ian! The food was delicious. The beds were clean and comfortable. The facilities were visitor ready. The only lingering impact is to the elevators. Only 2 of the 4 are working. #firstworldproblems. Kudos on a job well done!

We arrived in the evening and took the valet parking, which worked very well. The gentlemen helping us with this during our whole stay were very service minded. When we checked in the girl in the reception seemed very stressed. We felt stressed as she very quick walked us through all information about the hotel. Not a very good experience. Had a good dinner in the restaurant in the lobby - then had breakfast in the same restaurant two days. The omelets were amazing! We used the pool and the hot tub, both were very good with nice sun beds. During this stay it was low season so it was very few people in the hotel, perfect for us! Room was very big and beds comfortable but we had to ask for cleaning the first day since the cleaners forgot our room.. When checking out, we had to wait for quite some time and then a lady came and helped us and apologized for the waiting time. They had charged us too much for the valet parking but this lady corrected that immediately. Overall we had a really nice stay!

The property lost power twice while we were there, backup generators did not work. There was no emergency lighting in stairwells or common areas. The staff seemed confused on what to do (no announcement was made, there was no organization or assistance to the guests, they handed out glowsticks as a means to light dark areas). We were forced to find alternate lodging as eventually, our room got very hot. We were not give any refunds or comps, as the staff said the situation was beyond their control. (One staff member told us the generators have been down for months.) We had to use our phones to navigate the stairwells to get up and down to/from our room, which was a convoluted, confusing maze.

My boss and I booked this hotel so that we could make an early morning meeting. Upon arrival finding good food was easy. They had finer dining options at the resort but there was a seafood place right outside the entrance that was just cool and different. After dinner we came straight to hotel to get some work done and rest. We were greeted by valet with a smile and offers to help. But when we got inside, the lady that checked us in was not pleasant. She wasn’t overtly rude. But I had an issue with credit cards on the account and when I asked about the numbers, instead of allowing me to see what happened she quickly breezed past my concern as if I was inconveniencing her. We took our keys and got our bags from the super nice valet who offered to help with our bags and wished us a good night. When we got to our individual rooms, we both immediately realized we had no internet TV or internet for my laptop. They sent a maintenance guy up here that informed me that he wouldn’t be able to get it up and going until tomorrow, at noon after we checked out. I couldn’t do any work. Or watch what I wanted. For this to be one of the pricier hotels, at over $250 a room, I was quite disappointed in the way this short trip started. Not having internet was a huge negative for me. My hope is that they do something when we check out to make up for this
