Absolutely love what Dawn & Bruce have made of their home. So welcoming, comfortable and elegant we could not be more thrilled to have found this place. And truly by accident too. We look forward to our time at MGI and will come back each year well into the future. The food is to die for with every bit of effort placed into every offering it is a real culinary experience. Who knew breakfast could be so fun?!

Dawn and Bruce ride a perfect line of absolute professionalism and hands on family atmosphere. The consistent cleanliness, the unparalleled food and excellent service that I have witnessed for three years straight several times a year has been unbelievable. I can’t say enough- you should just go. Just go stay there!

My daughter and I visited Carisle to scope out Dickinson College. Our stay at the Moorland Garden Inn was fabulous! Dawn was incredibly welcoming; the room was lovely, and the home was chock-full of goodies beyond the usual tea and coffee - read fridge full of beverages and freshly baked cookies for us in the evening. The full breakfast was made to order and simply delicious! Would highly recommend to anyone visiting the area.

We had a lovely stay. We booked Lenore’s room and Jamie’s room for our family. The accommodations were clean and comfortable. We actually purchased a set of the sheets….so soft!! Each bathroom had all the amenities of a 5 star hotel. The breakfast was amazing. Homemade granola was addictive. Walking distance to Dickinson. We will stay again!

This is a beautiful property in immaculate condition in the best location possible if you are visiting Dickinson College (or the Penn State Law School). It's also an easy walk to the middle of downtown Carlisle. The accommodations and breakfast are just beyond par, and the hosts are so pleasant and welcoming. I have stayed here 4 times and each time I leave I can't wait to return. Five stars for sure.

Dawn has made us feel as if we were staying with loving family members. Her attention to friendly and detailed messaging, her welcome, and the great facilities she offered made the stay a wonderful occasion. We had enjoyed a previous stay at the Mooreland Garden Inn which was as welcoming and comfortable as this one. The room was attractive, spotless, and very comfortable. What a lovely bed and breakfast with phenomenal breakfast options. I slept more soundly than I had in ages. Having my kiddo join me for breakfast with so many options and delicious items was wonderful. I will definitely stay here again! Thank you!

The Mooreland Garden Inn is a lovely bed and breakfast right near the Dickinson campus. It is very clean and comfortable and the hosts were helpful and welcoming. Breakfast was delicious. I highly recommend a stay here instead of at one of the many chain hotels in the area.

I purchased a gift certificate for a night's stay for my parents' 50th anniversary. Sadly, my dad passed away before they were able to use it. Dawn was incredibly accommodating and understanding when I called to repurpose the stay as a getaway for my mom and myself. We greatly enjoyed our stay in the historic house and were thrilled with the many personal touches. The room was spacious and relaxing with a lovely en suite bathroom. The hosts, Dawn and Bruce were attentive and conversational without being overbearing. The breakfast was abundant and delicious and included many locally-sourced items. The guest kitchen was fully stocked with snacks and drinks, coffee and tea. Even though I am a long-time resident of Carlisle, I appreciated the opportunity to get away and be taken care of for a change! I will be happy to recommend Mooreland Garden Inn to friends looking for unique boutique accommodations in the area.

Our room was well appointed. We stayed in the Garden Room, which has 2 closets. A bouquet of fresh flowers adorned the desk in our room. Additionally there were seasonal individually wrapped chocolates on the desk and on the bedside tables on each side of the bed. Lovely curtains that matched the throw on the bed and pillow on the loveseat were also part of the decor. Ice Water and glasses were present in our room. The bathroom had a spacious shower including a seat. Toiletries were provided. The bathroom was spotless and toilet was sanitized, as evidenced with band indicating this status. Delectable homemade cookies were provided as an evening snack. The MGI had stemware available and a wide variety of beverages, from water, juices, soda to beer and bubbly. The breakfast menu included bubbly and juices if desired. Coffee and tea were available at all hours. The breakfast offerings were delicious and prepared in house. A small bowl of home made granola was present at each place setting. Candles and seasonal linens adorned the table. The croissants were made in France and baked on site. The inn keeper was very attentive and made sure everyone got beverage refills and ensured everything was prepared to our satisfaction. A variety of items were offered and guests selected their choice and desired time for breakfast. The entire first floor and porches and laundry was available for our use. A gas fireplace provided warmth and ambience. The entrance and entire home was tastefully decorated for the holidays. Parking was convenient.

My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed three nights at Mooreland Garden Inn. The bedroom was perfect, spacious, warm and comfortable. Dawn and Bruce are fabulous and attentive hosts. What wonderful breakfasts! This Inn is a great venue and will definitely increase our visits to lovely Carlisle (which is somewhat lacking in nice places to stay!)

I always enjoy my stay at this B&B. For the firs moment I step into this home I feel at home. Dawn is so gracious and really cares about making sure you will have a great experience. Here gourmet brunches are to die for. And you always have choices. And Bruce's French toast is world renowned. My room was spacious and the bed was very comfortable. Her evening restaurant recommendation were spot on, and in walking distance.

We enjoyed a WONDERFUL weekend at Mooreland Garden Inn while attending Ford Nationals at nearby Carlisle PA Fairgrounds. Innkeeper/Owner, Dawn Flower-Webb and husband Bruce were fantastic hosts and delivered exceptionally personalized service. This charming boutique property is situated on a quiet corner amongst other homes within the community surrounding Dickinson College. The main porch was colorfully inviting and surrounded by gorgeous flowers and trees. The preparation for our arrival was truly outstanding and beautifully presented. Dawn's attention to detail and hospitality made us feel so welcome after a long trip. There are plenty of complimentary extras like a variety of snacks, teas, coffee, soft drinks, etc., available round the clock. Please don't miss the warm cookies before bed. Dawn, Bruce and Abby made a huge breakfast each morning meticulously presented on fine china with lit candles. The absolutely out of the world homemade cuisine was such a hit that Dawn was kind enough to print several recipes and give us care packages to go. The room was clean, cozy and very comfortable. There were fresh flowers from the garden, well appointed bedding, abundance of towels, robes, extra blankets and pillows, locally handmade soap, carafe of ice water, plenty of lights and plugs, ceiling fan, large TV and chocolates, etc. We enjoyed getting to know Dawn and Bruce, as well as, the other guests and even booked our next visit before leaving. Dawn is an exemplary innkeeper and Mooreland Garden Inn an absolute recommendation!

We stayed at the Mooreland Garden Inn on a recent weekend. To say that this place is a gem is an understatement. The hosts, Dawn and Bruce, are amazing, both in their kindness, ability to meet your needs, and generosity. They go above and beyond. The house itself is beautiful and situated in a quiet, walkable area right adjacent to the Dickinson College campus. We walked everywhere since it was so convenient. The room was generous, and we were asked about our comfort and the temperature. Everything was updated and super clean. They have made the house open and available for you to sit and relax, hang out on the front porch, or be inside and drink some of the tea, coffee, or hand-made treats available. The breakfasts were amazing. We were impressed by how our hosts catered to our requests. Dawn described what we were having and even discussed how she made it. They went above and beyond asking about allergies and adjusting for our family situation since we were visiting our college student. Oh, and having the menus the night before, and having the ability to select menu items and the time breakfast would be served, according to our schedule, was super helpful. We cannot say enough about how wonderful our stay there was in both the comfort and absolute value. If you have never stayed in a bed-and-breakfast before, we warn you that this will set a very high bar and for those, like us, who have done so multiple times, this will rank amongst the very best.
