Ein Traum von einem Hotel. Eine top Aussicht auf das Meer. Auch vom Bett aus sahen wir direkt auf das Meer. Eine Oase der Ruhe. Das Hotelpersonal ist sehr diskret und freundlich. Das Frühstück wurde uns jeden Morgen frisch zubereitet ins Zimmer gebracht. Sehr sauber.

We had a wonderful stay three nights at this beautiful scenic resort on the hillside overlooking the Pacific. Our villa had a covered deck with a hot tub, kitchenette, rainfall shower and beautiful decor. We could open all the glass doors to the deck and enjoy our view of the sea in complete privacy with room service for every meal if desired. It was a lovely stay on our tour of CR for us as a executive couple trying to enjoy eco tourism and unplug from our usual fast paced life.

My husband and I stayed 3 nights in the Aquamarine Villa, and it was perfect! Very private, the pool was awesome, king bed was good, double headed shower with a glass door view to the ocean. My husband was not feeling well, so we didn't leave the room for 2 days, which was perfect because we had everything we needed, Inc room service for breakfast, lunch, cocktails for me. We highly recommend eating breakfast at the pool bar with ocean view. The food was amazing, cinnamon rolls and croissants, fresh fruit and eggs. Thank you for the fresh flowers and complimentary bottle of wine, amazing staff, and owners. The concierge service by Pablo was superb also. They arranged transport from Jaco by ferry to Montezuma, where a 5 star SUV picked us up to go to the resort. They also arranged a couples massage on our pri ate terrace, ATVs and transport to airport. Lovely place to celebrate our 17 yr anniversary, We will be back!

This is one of my favorite boutique hotels I’ve ever stayed at, if not my favorite ever. The whole vibe and energy of this place is unmatched. I came on a solo trip, but the people at this beautiful place made sure I never felt alone. I was welcomed like family, and the people I met and this incredible place continues to hold such a special place in my heart. From the fresh food (breakfast was my absolute favorite), to the service (the cleaning service was wonderful and they always asked what the best time would be to clean my room), to the happy faces that greeted me each and every day, it made my trip absolutely worthwhile. I stayed in the Jade Luxury Suite with the private Jacuzzi and all I can say is wow! If you’re debating staying in this room, stop thinking about it and book it now. The views were so beautiful. I saw all kinds of birds, butterflies, and even a huge iguana sitting in the trees outside from my balcony. The lush green mountains and ocean were breathtaking. Karla went above and beyond to make my time at Vista del Alma perfection. She gave me plenty of recommendations for things to do and places to eat around town, helped me rent an ATV for a couple of days as well as a rental car, and assisted me in extending my stay multiple days (I think I added 4 extra nights from my original stay) at Vista del Alma. Thomas and Stephanie were also very helpful and oh so kind. I can not wait to come back to this special place! I literally had such a wonderful experience that it became very hard to say goodbye. Whenever I think of Vista del Alma, I can’t help but smile and remember the pure happiness, beauty, and peace I felt there - pura vida!

Just lovely. This is exactly the place to completely relax. Truly the only thing I would request is more hooks in the room for various bathing suits, robes, towels, etc. It was the romantic escape we needed. Bed was firm and wonderful. Shower was a delight. Plunge pool was amazing. View was spectacular. Would visit again — also, the orange cat that roams the property is the best cat. I love him and would go back just to hang out with him.

The communication to the hotel was good throughout our booking, helping us making the decision our sedan car would be just about sufficient for the steep hill to the property. Its the hill its perched on surrounding by dry trees that makes the views so spectacular. We were happily greeted by the reception staff and shown to the pool and given a refreshing welcome drink. The rooms were spacious and modern and had everything we needed. Large shower rooms, kitchenettes and good bed. The views of the coast were stunning. The room we had was ‘Amethyst with jacuzzi’. We rented a quad bike to get around as the car is not practical. Staff were super helpful throughout with arranging the quad and other assistance. The breakfast needs improvement, not much on offer to the room delivered. Can’t recommend this boutique hotel enough for 5* accommodation in Santa Teresa.

Incredible stay! Loved the amethyst villa with hot tub. Gorgeous view. Everything clean and comfortable. Thankful for the 4x4 warning so we were prepared with the correct vehicle. Staff were super friendly although a bit disorganized and took weeks to respond to inquiries before we arrived, and after we arrived messaging us the same questions from two phones, just felt not on par with the quality and price of everything else. Still everything was wonderful!

I don't think the pictures does justice to what this place actually is. One of the most incredible views. To begin with the level of communication this place gives, you are chatting with the front desk before you even arrive to Costa Rica. Any questions you have, they'll answer. Upon arriving, they give you a little tour of the resort which when you arrive to your villa, your bags are already there. The first thing you have to do as you walk into your room is pick your mouth up from the floor. This place is absolutely stunning. Warning for travelers coming to Santa Teresa and/or Costa Rica in general: Rent an SUV 4x4 to transport around. The roads are not great. This resort as many things in Costa Rica sit on a very steep hill. We saw people walking down the hill to get the town but we decided to drive. The place is very safe & everyone is very friendly. Just book the place.

Absolutely beautiful Villa with an amazing view of the Pacific. Breakfast was delicious and so fresh.
