I called ahead letting them know I would be checking in between 12:30-1am. They said no problem. I arrive at 12:35am to the front door open & a note on the front desk saying they would be right back & here is an emergency number if you need assistance.
I waited 10 mins, called, said he’s helping another customer & he’ll be a while. Please sit on the couch & wait. So another 20 mins goes by & I call again, to the hotel phone number (not the emergency number). Got the same guy, he said he’s almost there. Well, this motel had the evening clerk also drive the shuttle….so he was at the airport picking up customers & im just waiting for over 30 mins. Had I not had a non-refundable reservation, I would have left. Worker saw nothing wrong with this. I couldn’t believe it.
