喀什爾藍寶石谷歡朋套房酒店(Hampton Inn & Suites Cashiers-Sapphire Valley)

We were woken up at 7am Saturday from the construction directly above our unit. The contractor was using hammer on the concrete floor directly over where we sleep. Needless to say, we had to wake up way early than we had anticipated. Although we didn’t minded that the hotel is under renovation (didn’t know until we got there), it is completely unacceptable for workers to be working before 8am!!! Especially on a Saturday!! The hotel staff could have arranged it so our room is not directly under where construction is happening. Asked for refund, but hotel staff didn’t respond.

My room was old , dirty , smelly ,damp. Ask to have my room changed and was told no room available. Sent a manager to my room and proceeded to tell me they didn’t smell anything and offered to spray with Fabreze. Personnel weren’t particularly friendly and almost seemed afraid to look at the guests . Not a hotel I would ever use again or recommend to anyone. Needs to be torn down. $210.00 was an extra for a so called mountain view that only over looked the parking lot. No view. Card keys to room would work maybe twice before you had to get new ones. Unacceptable hotel .

Maybe this is the way and condition the hospitality industry will be moving forward. So much attention could be paid to updating the rooms, amenities and grounds. Another pet friendly hotel! Leave your pets at home, they are not family. I don’t want to sleep in a room where your pets have slept. Moving forward I will have to be more diligent in finding no pets places to stay.

For the price that we paid, this place was very disappointing. This hotel is in bad need of an upgrade. The elevator shakes and hasn’t been checked since November of 2021. The toilet is LOUD. The breakfast was terrible. The fruit was old and brown. The oatmeal looked like it was a week old, thick and pasty. The girl at the front desk was very nice and helpful to us. She went out of her way to find a map of the area for us, which should have been readily available.

Booked on line and your hotel didn’t disappoint. I would stay again.

The property needs to be updated, freshened up. It is starting to wear and tear. The carpet had some stains in our room. The power went off a couple of times during the day and we left early, a day and a half ahead of schedule

Cleanliness needs improvement. Coffee pot had unknown slimy spots where your pour the water, brown in color..... Sink in bathroom was stopped up and took forever to drain. Elevator was extremely slow and there was only one. The alternate stairs were without lights on some floors and creepy. Key card didn't work after leaving at 8 am to obtain breakfast. The high charge of this hotel does not equate to the quality or lack of quality therein. The good side- the service and staff were fantastic!

I checked in on Sunday, August 8th 2021 and was assisted by Mary, General Mgr. My Son-In-law and his Wife was assigned room #216 and we were placed in room #210. When we entered the room there was a musty odor, the A/C was off and did not work. The refrigerator and microwave was unplugged from the electrical sockets. The carpet was filthy and the bed was not properly made up. I called and she assigned us to room #404 a studio room. My daughter and her husband along with there 4 yr old son had similar problems and she would not assigned them a clean room. We tried with her assistance to find another Hotel, but only could locate 1 room for 1 night. Need I say more.
