We had an awful time in this hotel. Don’t get me wrong, the area is nice but the hotel staff let this place down big time! We stayed 3 nights in June 2022. The room they gave us had 3 doors. The front door, bathroom door and patio door. The patio door wouldn’t lock which for me is a security issue. Secondly the bathroom door wouldn’t close.
Raising these issues with Sebastian who works on reception is when the troubles started. His horrible dismissive attitude was ridiculous and unprofessional. They couldn’t change our room as the hotel was full. That’s not his fault but his attitude was shocking.
He couldn’t seem to understand my concern with our patio door not locking.
“What are your concerns? This area is safe” he said. He then follows it up with “what do you want me to do? The maintenance staff don’t work on the weekends” This guy was so frustrating! Therefore I decided to complain to ********** and they immediately phoned the hotel to see what was going on. I warned the agent that the staff are very unresponsive and rude. The agent called me back and even he agreed that they were rude to him on the phone.
If you are being rude to people that provide you business then you know they have a problem.
I then returned to the reception and Sebastian again being very rude then claimed that I was just doing this to get money off my room!!! This infuriated me anymore. I am and have been a gold member of ********** for many years now. Their customer service is bad.
