埃斯緹酒店(Hotel Estee)

hotel ben situato, non lungi dal centro della ridente cittadina sul Benaco e abbastanza vicino alla stazione del treno...servizio molto buono, personale cortese, camera bella...qualora ritorni a Desenzano non mancherò di farvi un nuovo soggiorno

Posizione bellissima fronte lago. La sala da pranzo ha della vetrate a tutta parete che si affacciano quasi direttamente sul Lago: meraviglioso, sia col sole che col cattivo tempo. Il lago di Garda in movimento col cielo minaccioso ricorda più che mai il mare e trasmette emozioni che hanno del sublime. Godersi una ricca colazione con questo panorama fa iniziare la giornata in modo speciale, anche se, e meglio ancora se si è qui per lavoro o per un corso. Le stanze, ristrutturate e in ordine, sono abbastanza semplici e hanno ancora un sapore antico. L'hotel fornisce aree salotto per sostare o conversare tra amici e la sala che abbiamo usato per il corso è luminosissima grazie alle grandi vetrate al piano stradale, per non perdersi nulla della luce del luogo.

Hotel del secolo scorso che negli anni sessanta/settanta poteva meritare 4 stelle ora non più di tre sia per la struttura sia per i servizi. Piani superiori serviti solo da ascensore senza scale, presenti solo in uscite di emergenza. I nostri figli (11 anni) da soli in ascensore non potevano scendere per le scale sì. Colazione mediocre (salumi non freschi, il prosciutto cotto aveva un odore che nemmeno al mio gatto l'avrei dato). Oltre a ciò ci siamo pure dovuti subire inefficienza e scortesia. Per ben 2 volte hanno sbagliato numero della camera assegnata ai nostri amici, consegnando le chiavi di camere già impegnate. Quindi loro sono entrati fisicamente in camera di altri, rendendosi conto solo all'interno che era occupata. Cosa gravissima!! Scortese e maleducato invece il cameriere in sala, con il fiato sul collo dei clienti, borbottando giudizi sugli stessi probabilmente nella erronea convinzione di non essere sentito perché portava una mascherina (?). Consiglio di non farsi ingannare dalla posizione (unica nota positiva). Il lago ed il centro non bastano di fronte a simili situazioni.

Very charming place, comfortable rooms, great choice for breakfast. The Hotel is right on the lake shore and just a few steps from the town center and the boats to cruise the lake. The staff are very hospitable, welcoming, eager to help their clients. And there is a good restaurant at the Hotel. And the beach is right in front of the Hotel. Thanks for my pleasant stay there!

Pros: + A 5 min walk into the charming old town + Has a pool overlooking the lake + The cafe is quite nice (we only had drinks there but the menu looked competitive. + We had a very warm welcome from the staff who were pleased to see English tourists again + The room was large and air conditioning very good + Lovely breakfast with a nice view of the lake Cons: - A few improvements to the room would help - e.g. putting the mirror above the desk and chair and having a lighter key for when you carry it around with you (it was very ornate but heavy!) - Have a toilet in the pool area

The hotel is nice and in a great location for the price. More on the older side and can use some updating but still a decent hotel. The bathroom was large although shower is on the smaller side like many in italy. The bed is on the harder side but still usable. it’s pretty clean overall, but could use some deep cleaning of areas and things maybe replaced or retouched to feel cleaner. Overall great hotel that has a pool and ocean view.

Wenn möglich gewesen wäre würde ich 0 Punkte vergeben. Man muss bedänken dass dieses Hotel 4 Sterne und auch einen Stolzen Preis (bei uns waren es für 2 Erwachsene und 1 Kind) immerhin über 230 Euro die Nacht. Wenn alles in Ordnung gewesen wäre dann würde man ja den Preis akzeptieren.....Um es auf dem Punkt zu bringen, Hygiene katastrophal.Bei unserm Zimmer ohne Balkon mit Seeblick war es nicht möglich das Fenster zu öffnen oder zu kippen. Schimmel im Bad geht gar nicht.(immerhin war das Hotel sicher aufgrund von Corona lang genug geschlossen um diesen Mangel zu beheben) Frühstück war dafür in Ordnung. Die Sicht vom Frühstücksraum wurde durch massenhaften Vogelkot an den Fensterscheiben zum See gestört.... Ich könnte noch ein paar weitere Punkte aufzählen....

Great location right on the lake with views across the lake from the breakfast room, the terrace restaurant and the pool. Close to the town and restaurants but in the quieter area. Walking distance from train station and lake ferry port. Breakfast and fresh coffee was very good. The staff very friendly and helpful. Breakfast staff will make you as many fresh cappuccinos as you like. Bar and reception equally helpful, receptionist even dropped us to the train station when he couldn't book us a taxi. Only issue was a storm blew out the air conditioning for a few days but fans were provided
