We've stayed before so were keen to go back, as such a wonderful place to unwind and relax in luxurious surroundings. The room was spotlessly clean, well furnished, with an impressive view across the front lawns. The bed was so comfortable, and the bathroom with its various shower options, and bath with TV to watch was great. The meal we had at the Castle Inn was absolutely delicious; we the the Venison, and Pork Loin, and both meats were cooked to perfectly. And finally, and most importantly, the staff at hotel were wonderful. Friendly, helpful and attentive, and nothing was too much trouble, including late night room service. We will be going back for sure

It’s been a long time since I visited the hotel but I was much relieved to find that the character and a**osphere had not changed and whilst the staff had changed the warm welcome and friendliness had not. I love it here. Beautiful room with 2 king size beds and lovely bed linen making for a great nights sleep. We ate in the main restaurant and had the tasting menu….absolutely delicious. Lovely choice at breakfast with attentive staff. Special mention for Ben, Sam and Paul in the bar and the reception ladies. Thank you to you all.

A wonderful long weekend stay at the Manor House. Lovely location, very friendly and efficient staff, superb food, and wonderful room. I would recommend this hotel as a great place to stay at any time of the year. Bring your walking boots (or borrow the hotel wellington boots!) and go for one of the many walks in the countryside around the hotel and then return for tea in front of the fire and then a relaxing bath in your room before dinner. We’re coming back for sure.

We had booked this for our wedding anniversary and a very good choice it was. We had chosen the Lordsmeer Suite and that is extremely impressive with lovely views over the gardens. The 7 course tasting menu was also superb, although I was somewhat surprised to see that a 13.5% service charge is added to the bill. The grounds are immaculately kept and the whole building is enchanting. The staff are obliging and friendly. It was overall a lovely experience. Thanks to all.

My wife and I had a wonderful one night stay in February. The Manor House is a truly amazing property in the idyllic village of Castle Combe. We stayed in one of the new cottages which is a short walk from the main building. The room was large and luxurious but had a wonderful cosy feel. The bathroom and shower in particular were fantastic. Just be sure to close the shutters as there are lots of people walking past taking photos of the cottages! We ate in the Bybrook restaurant in the evening which was a wonderful experience. The food, ambience and staff were brilliant and definitely worthy of its Michelin star. Breakfast was also in the restaurant which was excellent. Great choice of hot and cold, local ingredients as well. The bar is fantastic and we’d definitely recommend going for a pre-dinner drink to soak up the a**osphere of the house. All the staff were very friendly and helpful. While staying at the Manor House we’d recommend a walk in the woodlands and stopping in the White Hart pub for a drink. There is another pub called the Castle Inn which is also owned by the hotel. It seemed you can only go in if you had a reservation, even if it was just for a quick drink. Seems to be definitely geared towards food and not being a pub. We had a wonderful stay at the Manor House and will definitely go back to stay again. Would definitely recommend for a special occasion, one of the best places we’ve stayed.

The Manor House is a stunning hotel, immaculate in every way. All the staff were the epitome of friendly professionalism and we could not have enjoyed our stay more. Dinner in the pub was excellent, as was the a la carte (Full English!) breakfast in the main restaurant - we will return!!

Everything high end luxury in this lovely old country house in the prettiest of villages. The biggest bathroom ever - jacuzzi bath from which to watch television! Everything you could possibly need for a comfortable stay in a spacious suite. Taster menu delicious. Nice staff too.

Location, staff, a**osphere all make this an extraordinary place to visit. We got married here 17 years ago and have stayed several times now and it never fails to deliver. The food is delicious, drinks and quality of furnishings, views all stunning.

The most amazing hotel and set in beautiful surroundings. My daughter & I stayed on the 3 day Chris**as package, which exceeded our expectations. All the staff were fantastic, professional and friendly and it felt like a home from home. Food ( Michelin Star restaurant) and drink delightful and additional touches like a Chris**as tree in our room with decorations in wicker basket for us to decorate , Chris**as gifts including a stocking left outside the door on Chris**as Eve , basket with goodies on arrival in the room and early check in as room was available . A few lounges to relax in with open fires which added to the experience. Fabulous sleep due to unbelievably comfortable mattress & pillows. So pleased with the hotel that my daughter immediately booked a return visit in June 2024 for us both !
