The Hotel@Dayton South 代頓南酒店(The Hotel at Dayton South)

When we arrived, the desk clerk was on her personal cell phone with a sign up stating she was with a customer. When she saw me, she came to the desk, never smiled or said hello. When we got to the room, it smelled. We realized we had booked an accessible room, which we did not want. We went to ask for another room. She told us there would be a $20 charge for a different room, still not smiling. While we made the switch, some of her friends came in and she became a different person! She smiled and laughed with them. When we got to our new room, she had written the wrong number on our room keys. We had to figure it out for ourselves. The room was fine. Breakfast was good and the gentleman in charge of the area was great! He made sure everything was just right!

The desk staff at this location were efficient, friendly and accommodating. The room was in poor condition. Even though the beds provided a comfortable night’s sleepy, the bathroom floor was dirty, the room lighting was poor, and the furniture that housed the mini fridge had a door that was ready to fall off because the lower hinge was completely separated from the wood. Additionally the mirror in the sleeping area was covered by the furniture that housed the microwave and mini fridge. Also the entry door squeaked very loudly.

The beds in this hotel should be replaced,they were the most uncomfortable beds I have ever tried to sleep in, the staff didn’t seem to care we will never stay there again unless they update

3rd class toiletries, same towels for 2 days, not clean ,

One night stay of a trip- there was no signage anywhere around the hotel. Everything was just so-so - nothing great!

This property is an excellent value. If you are on business, want to keep expenses down, and really just need a place to lay your head, it’s perfect. Very friendly and efficient front desk staff (yay, Jessie). Note: there is no traditional housekeeping during your stay but as long as you know that, it’s all good.

It’s an older property, but it was clean and quiet. Staff was very friendly. Would definitely stay here again!

I have stayed at this hotel many times over the past four years. It’s always clean, well-staffed and safe. The staff is excellent. The parking lots are well-lit and safe. Never had a bad experience here in 4 years.
