Be careful with this hotel. It is a scam. They charged me 2 nights plus a driver and I never reached the hotel. Very greedy and disagreable people. Not reliable at all. They provided somebody to pick me up at Amahai port. The driver transported 2 woman, 2 children and me to the nearest city. After that, he told me to wait 3-4 hours there till he find other customers. He just dissappeared with my suitcase and let me under the sun for 3 h. Neither the hotel or the driver replied anymore my messages. I was offering more money to take me to the hotel. Finally the driver came back with my luggage, he didn't have any customers. There was no car or bus to go the hotel. I decided to take the last boat back to Ambon as this people is not reliable and it was uncertain if I would have a roof that night. The hotel charged me anyway 2 nights because 'I cancelled', but the reason was: there is no way to arrive the hotel. The driver also charged me the trip although he didn't took me anyway. Btw, if you are a solo female traveler I discourage you to go this area. I am 50 y.o. and I got a lot of sexual harassment all the time. They don't respect woman at all. And, they will try to steal every penny you have. This problem with this hotel it is just an example of how they proceed. I was so upset that I cancelled my 3 week holiday in Maluku to go another country. Best decision ever!

A piece of paradise that feels like you have a beach all to yourself! The family who run the resort do all that they can to make you feel at home I would add a couple cautions due to its remote location: - There is limited plumbing (no flushing toilet) and no wifi (we were able to get a weak signal and used our own data) - everything we ate was fresh, delicious and local but this means a lot of fish, rice, greens and eggs. Every night it was cooked differently and we loved every meal, but please be understanding of the limited food choices That said, we highly recommend staying with such a great family in such a beautiful location
