La Xalca酒店 - Casa Andina關聯酒店(La Xalca Hotel - Asociado Casa Andina)

Safe, clean, nice, close to downtown, good breakfast, big rooms, great architecture (based on ancient spanish houses) Collaborators are always ready to help and happy to answer any question regarding tourism, history, where to eat, where to go. Good choice if going with family.

Lovely hotel: helpful staff, spacious and clean rooms, comfortable beds with lovely pillows. Absolutely beautiful court yard.

Excellent place to stay. Beautiful hotel. Located close to the main square. Nice decoration. Good service from the staff. I highly recommend staying in this hotel when you visit the nice, clean and quite city of Chachapoyas.

Its a beautiful hotel. The service and the breakfast is great, and I must mention that the coffee is strong and delicious.

La Xalca Hotel is in a good location, close to the town centre. The staff were knowledgeable, friendly and very helpful. We also appreciated that there was a hot breakfast available. We would definitely stay here again.

Just the perfect place to rest and work remotely. I attended a conference at the University and La Xalca served as my headquarters to come and go from meetings. Easy access to the main plaza, and restaurants by foot, while nested in a quiet neighborhood. Very friendly staff, and, tasty and hearty breakfast. Love the patio area with lovely and huge hydrangeas! I will come back when planning my visit to Gocta and Kuelap! Kateryn was very helpful and courteous :)

The room offers minimal accommodations. The bedding was comfortable. The bathroom was small and clean, but lacking basic items. The room carpeting was not adequate: thin like paper and tired-looking. The front desk attendant was great! The gentleman spoke English and he was very helpful with suggestions and making arrangements. Bottom line: I do not recommend the hotel. Breakfast was OK. The hotel location was good. Do not get swayed by the photo on the hotel website of a nice-looking courtyard (I did) because the rest of the hotel doesn't deliver.

Sólo puedo decir que siempre que pueda volver a Chachapoyas, me hospedaré en la Xalca porque es bonito, bien cuidado, familiar, tranquilo y me sentí tan a gusto como en mi propia casa. Se trata de una antigua casona familiar rehabilitada con gusto y acomodada para hotel, com grandes habitaciones, y espacios comunes. Sirven un desayuno bien bueno y atienden cualquier necesidad que tengas de la mejor manera. Ambiente muy familiar.
