I’d never stay here again. We’ve loyally stayed at the Hyatt Place because of the location but it’s become very worn and kind of run down. We like the Homewood Suites, no complaints. But this time we decided to try out the newer Home 2 down the street. Price was the same as the Homewood Suites. After staying two nights I have no idea why. Positives: It has amenities, sure. Work out room, pool, outdoor hangout spaces. Rooms are spacious. Basic cleaning was decent. Negatives: The rooms are cheap. Lighting is sparse and very cheap fluorescent. There’s a microwave but no cooktop, which seems odd for an extended stay place. The full size fridge is nice. There are plenty of dishes, but they weren’t clean when we checked in so I had to run the dishwasher. The barn-style rolling bathroom door leave a gap, which means less privacy. And, one of our two bathroom doors was almost impossible to roll. The corners of the shower need some mildew removal. The shower itself is a very cheaply fiberglass surround. Only shampoo & body wash, no conditioner. The couch was very stained. There are no closets, just storage areas with a curtain. No luggage rack. This hotel is pretty large. The elevators are right in the middle off of the lobby. So the walk to the furthest rooms are a hike if your hands are full. The hallways and especially the elevators are disgustingly almost disturbingly hot. With a heat index over a 100 this weekend, I’m glad we didn’t have a long elevator ride. There’s a charge for parking but I don’t feel like anyone was making sure the cars were supposed to be there. There were a few groups of people hanging out around cars at night who seemed a bit sketchy. Back to the one set of elevators thing, parking far from the entrance meant walking all of the way around the hotel to get to the elevators. We had trouble getting the doors on the back of the hotel to unlock with our keys so we weren’t able to use the hot staircase for access. This is one of my least recommended hotels in CU.
Outstanding hotel, restaurant and bar. Very clean rooms and staff are beyond professional. I would recommend the restaurant be open on Sundays especially when there are conferences. My only suggestion would be complimentary bar snacks during happy hour.

Overall, I would say it's a 3.5 hotel depending on what price you pay. If it's less than $125, 4 star perhaps. Location is very good with lots of Asian restaurants on the same block. Parking garage is next to hotel and connected with keycards. Room AC was very loud and pillows were awful. Everything else is basic. Service and cleanliness was good.

Truly a wonderful experience! The general manager John Hammond assured me and even proved he does his due diligence to ensure the operation hotel is not subpar. During the stay I asked him a question about the pool water temperature and he immediately contacted one of his staff to re confirm that it was indeed at the required temperature before I use it. The hotel met and exceeded my expectations. Friendly staff, comfortable very spacious up to date rooms, the walk in shower was very elegant and all the amenities were in good working order. The kitchen in the room was very convenient.
訪訪客We had a nice stay at this hotel. It was very clean and the beds were very comfortable. The breakfast was delicious and the staff was friendly and helpful. We didn’t go in the pool but we looked at the pool area and it looked very clean. I would recommend this hotel.
Ooff2skoolWe debated between hotels and opted for LaQuinta to save money. The photos on the site looked acceptable and the room we got was comparable to the photos. Rooms are newly renovated and overall were decent. It feels like some of the renovation work was rushed or done sloppy but we were reassured that almost all the rooms were new. Pool is very outdated and they closed it an hour early. Workout room was not really worth it and also outdated. Breakfast was decent and in a newly renovated area. The first appearance from the exterior had us worried we were staying in a worse hotel - but overall our 4 night stay went well. I was disappointed in how narrow the bathroom door was and how small the bathroom was - we had someone with a disability with us in a chair and there really weren't rooms with the beds we needed for accessibility so we made due but I wished all hotels put accessibility and space in rooms as a priority. If they reduced the desk and dresser space and got rid of the closet it would open up the room considerably for both luggage and wheelchairs or people.
