First of all I booked at Chanhassen through ********** and I ended up at Minnetonka. I needed an accessible room snd my room was not. My sons wheelchair could not fit in bathroom or between the beds. Was terrible. No refrigerator or microwave. I will not use ********** or stay at a Holiday Inn or Express ever again.

The things that matter were good. My TV kept cutting out however and would need to be reset to work. The Internet was also unreliable, which wasn't ideal as I had to work from my hotel room. I also assumed the room came with a fridge and/or microwave, which it did not.

Pros: breakfast buffet, hot tub, pool, friendly staff. Cons: the curtains in our room didnt close, it was never designed to. The sheer curtains did close though, but they are see through. Having the inability to close the solid curtains was violating. The tub was leaky, and the wall was damaged, and poorly patched. For the price we paid, i would have rather stayed at a different hotel. Ive stayed at cheaper hotels with the same amenities, and in better shape.

When you’re staying in Minneapolis in the winter, and it’s 13 degrees BELOW ZERO, Fahrenheit, nothing is easy. Parking outdoors is about the worst thing ever. And currently it’s impossible on **********, or on any other site for that matter, to search or sort hotels for COVERED, INDOOR or HEATED PARKING. When it’s that cold, an indoor parking garage, where I don’t have to spend half an hour each morning digging my car out of the snow would be the best luxury ever. I don’t care about swimming pools or the color of the lobby. I don’t want to be around other people, especially the unmasked right now…and I don’t want to be stuck in the ice and snow. That’s all that matters. You should make covered / indoor / heated parking searchable on your site. I’d happily pay more for hotels that offer that feature during a MN winter.

No frig or microwave in the room, only for "familes" we were told. No one wants to go to the lobby pantry in their jammies to pop popcorn.

There was a housekeeping error and our room was not ready until 9pm!! The staff was extremely kind and felt bad but this doesn’t change the fact we had to wait so long for our room. My daughter had a dance competition early the next morning and needed to be in bed early.
