General lack of customer service, inconsistent communication between the restaurant staff and hotel. We booked for Easter weekend and were not informed of brunch, when we found out about it and enquired we were told that it was fully committed. Upon check in I asked if we would be able to have brunch as hotel guests and was told to go talk to the restaurant. The restaurant gave us a vague answer that they would try to accommodate us. We came at 10am and asked for a table, they had no issue seating us and the restaurant was mostly empty until we left. Didn’t provide water or housekeeping services without being asked. Lack of amenities on property.

The Carolina Inn enjoys a well-deserved reputation for excellence, and I was pleased to partake of its storied pleasures during my stay.

Beautiful property and amazing staff, but this hotel is in need of an upgrade. The pillows were worn out and the walls were super thin, could hear everything. The location and setting are amazing though, so still enjoyed my stay!

This is a classic Chapel Hill hotel. We always love our stay here! Beautiful rooms and lobby! The front porch is always a great place for an evening cocktail! Recent updates look great!

Having a fabulous time staying at the Carolina Inn. Perfectly located on campus. Beautiful accommodations and very friendly staff. Highly recommend.
