Homewood Suites by Hilton Charlotte/SouthPark

Check in: lobby clean and spacious, staff friendly and welcoming. Room: clean, spacious, comfortable and well equipped for short stays. Breakfast: fresh, hot and tasty, many choices to choose from. Location: safe, convenient and lots of things in walking distance.

This property is close to shopping, however limited good restaurant choices, next to a gas station where people were asking for money. The first room we had was just gross, smelled and wasn't clean at all. The second room was a little better but the whole floor smelled like tacos for 2 days. Continental breakfast was just gross. Bar food was done at 1030. At check in the guy behind the counter kept taking photos of my information on the computer screen. Very strange since Im a woman traveling with my teenage daughter....

Just had a one night stay for a work related event. Location was very convenient in the Southpark area. The room was incredibly spacious for the cost and the staff were polite. However, the room had a slightly musty smell and the containers of shampoo, conditioner, and hand soap were all nearly empty (an annoying thing to discover once I was already in the shower!). Needed a bit more attention to detail but nothing terrible. Would stay there again if the most budget friendly option, but would likely choose another spot if the prices were equivalent.

I love the staff working there; they made us feel so warm and welcoming!! Will definitely return!!

The lady at the front desk did not stay by the desk, rather by the stove, took very long to get our room

Reserved a room for myself, spouse and 4 children. Only had 3 towels in the bathroom and we had to ask for more. When we attempted to make the pull out sofa no bedding in the suite we had to go and ask again for the bedding. Also saw roaches in the kitchen area.

I have stayed at this hotel 4 times in the past year and find it to be excellent in every way

We reserved a room with two queens in it so far and all they have available is one king and a sofa. We needed more beds and there wasn't even sheets available for the sofa bed. I had to go back down to get them. How can we get sheets for the sofa bed?
