Very clean, great customer service

Another great stay as always at Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriott Charlotte University Research Park. Neighbor to UNC-Charlotte, IKEA, Top Golf, a ton of shopping and restaurants, incredibly easy access to parking and interstate, you really cannot go wrong with this spot. That's all exterior. Interior, Darin and team really have this place humming along. Super friendly and helpful staff, excellent rooms, great workout room and meeting rooms, awesome daily complimentary breakfast, and back deck overlooking some relaxing scenery. Darin and the team really treat you well here. I'll be back for all of my visits to the Charlotte/Concord area.

I was admitted to the hospital and obviously couldn’t make it to my reservation, I asked them if they could switch dates for me reservation since I knew it was last minute and they couldn’t cancel and refund me. I was told no. They were unwilling to help out in a time where I was vulnerable and it would’ve made my life a little easier. I will never book this hotel or recommend to anyone.

The hotel area was great. Lots of places to eat and shop. The room layout was good. However we were there for 4 days and had ABSOLUTELY NO HOT WATER the entire stay. One of the worse hotel experiences I’ve had in a very long time

This place is amazing, Shelia is one of the best hotel receptionist, I've seen in awhile. Also the breakfast was great, the hostess was very friendly and helpful. One suggestion, grits pkts would"ve been a nice addition.

Cockroach was crawling on the floor when we entered the room. That being said, the hotel did look clean, it may not be a reflection of the hotel as much as it was the last person staying in the room.

Very clean - staff was amazing! However, the walls are very thin and we could hear the cleaning beginning at 8.

Bed was hard baseboard of shower was dirty

Manager was rude , unprofessional and inconsiderate. A item was stolen from us. When I called and ask to come and receive the item THE SAME DAY I was told "no". The manager showed no support with customer issues and lacked empathy for my stolen item. I was told I couldn't come back to check the room for myself and that "his staff would never steal" . A whole joke I would sleep on the streets before returning. Please don't forget anything because it's theirs if you do .
