Affordable, nothing fancy but everything you. In close proximity to the interstate and anything else you could want.

Ok if you just need a convient place close to the hospital to sleep!

I enjoyed the king bed it was very comfortable and the size of the bathroom was a nice surprise, for real. The staff is friendly and courteous. The only real issue I had was the nasty smell of the air conditioning when it turned on and the breakfast that is offered could be better. I like Red Roof because they are pet friendly and fit my budget.

I wouldn't know how the rooms were because I had a family emergency and ended up in the emergency room all night. I'm familiar with hotel refund policies generally, but I feel like the equivalent of "too bad" when I was finally able to call late that evening and explain the reason was in somewhat poor taste, and honestly crap customer service. I almost always stay at Red Roof when I travel, but I guess if this is "customer loyalty", I'll have to go shopping for another hotel chain.

Well we get here way after the time to check in and they didn’t have a room ready. Then last night they gave someone else our room because they tried to get in our room. So in the meanwhile they deactivated our key that my husband couldn’t get back in the room after going to get breakfast. Luckily I was still in the room. I’m not the only guest that was upset from start to finish to get a room. You had plenty of upset people. I understand there was a concert in town but you guys weren’t even ready for the people that made reservations. I went off of staying here by reviews I won’t ever stay here again the reviews were way off of what was written about this place. It’s pretty bad that you wanted to people to wait around for a room to open up but wasn’t going to allow the people to use the bathroom that was in the lobby until much later. Then we get a call after midnight when the people that to get in our room went back down to let them know someone was in the room. Then we were asked who are we. Well shouldn’t there have been a record at the front desk who has each room. I’ve never stayed in a motel that’s so unorganized. I know I definitely won’t stay here again.

I asked for a quiet room and was given one with a noisy refrigerator. When I asked fir a different room I was told there were none and got a refund instead. I left. Btw, there were no soaps or other toiletries in the room. The dispensers they had were all empty. When I complained, I was told the maid " must have forgotten".

Overall the property is nice and budget friendly which was a plus since we were staying while my son was in the hospital at uva. The room was very nice and the girl working when we checked in did a fantastic job. My issues arise from the second night we stayed. When we got back to our room from the hospital our keys did not work, no big deal. So I go down to the desk and no one is there and a sign saying they will return shortly. So as I wait I look around the lobby. A few minutes later the gentleman working returns and proceeds to be very rude. Speaking in a loud tone at me and holding the sign in my face saying didn’t you see the sign, can’t you read the sign, why were you looking around. To which I responded that there was no need to be so rude and explaining my issue with my room keys. He did resolve the key issue but proceeded to keep up the rude behavior the whole time. 10/10 would not recommend staying purely due to how I was treated by the staff. If you aren’t a people person a front desk job is not for you. Anyone reading this review I highly suggest the sleep inn. The room prices are insane extremely similar and the property and people working are a million times better
