金斯阿姆斯酒店(The Kings Arms)

Lovely pub downstairs. With restaurant and large outdoor area. Our room was a good size and a large modern en-suite. The breakfast was very good. We had a large full English.

Came with a few friends for the first time last night. Food was great (especially steak burger!) and service was immaculate. Credit to Annaleese who always made sure everything was perfect for us and was very smiley too! You don't see that in young people now a-days so was a lovely visit and definitely will be back. 😃

Just had a delicious lunch at this lovely pub. Everything about it was superb. The hosts Tony and Claude were welcoming and professional in every way. The menu was fantastic and different to standard pub grub. The dishes we shared were so delicious especially the pork starter. The whole place was very clean and the decor was perfect. Will be recommending this place to our friends and will be back soon. Thank you so much x

This was our 'go-to' hotel in the West Country, but after last week I'm not so sure: there seems to have been a wholesale change of staff. The housekeeping was poor, with dust and blown light-bulbs in the bedroom and bathroom and the dinner (although the same menu as previously) seemed to have lost some of its culinary edge. We'll no doubt give The Kings Arms a second chance at some point in the future, when I hope our faith will be restored.

Stunning hotel, lovely place to eat, we both had the belly pork, with deep fried potatoes, why advertise roast potatoes then serve deep fried? The pork was served with mushrooms and small onions and carrot purée, no gravy instead a red wine jus, and additional vegetables! Expensive meal that failed to impress, first class service I must say

What a beautiful place to spend an afternoon walking, then enjoy a scrumptious supper and fall asleep in a very comfortable bed. What more can a birthday girl ask for? It is deceptively larger than it appears from the outside and very smart with a modern twist to it. The garden will be stunning in the summer. The staff are very welcoming and friendly.

We used the hotel to visit the Roman Villa at The Newt and also the Fleet Air Arm Museum as both are with 15-20 mins drive from this excellent value hotel. Great breakfast and we also ate dinner at the hotel both nights. Very pleasant stay with good food, great service and attentive staff. Note, aircon in the room is a standalone unit which we didn't need to use. Comfortable bed and quiet location and the room had plenty of storage. Recommended. We would stay again.

We go here on special occasions and today was as fabulous as ever. Food and service was superb. I don’t understand bad reviews. We always receive a warm welcome and today was particularly special as we were celebrating the forthcoming wedding of my cousin and her fiancé. Thank you to the Lethbridge family. Especially lovely to see Oliver.
