This place is truly a great place. Very clean... Staff is amazing.. (I forgot my fan and CAN NOT sleep without one, my new friend, Denise, helped me out and got one for me, THANK YOU, Denise...) The main street is so cute, & convenient for ANYthing. I'll stay here any time I'm in the area!

My wife picked the Chestnut Hill Hotel for an overnight stay while we attended a concert nearby. The hotel is very cozy, clean and comfortable, and the staff were friendly and helpful. We loved the stores and places to eat that surrounded the hotel. While parking was a challenge until later that night, everything was perfect. We will be coming back to the hotel to spend a quiet weekend and enjoy the town.

Not worth the price. Stay at a upscale chain instead, much better. Broken toilet, tiny room.

Room 401 nicely appointed however, it took 2-3 minutes for hot water to the sink. Tub did not drain well, and the heat kicked in loudly for about five seconds then quieted fien after that. Good dining options and staff was good. Breakfast included was continental, pretty modest selections.

Had a very nice stay, very comfortable.Very cute and very clean. I could wish for better lighting in the room and stairwell for the 2nd to 3rd floor. Parking was a little difficult. breakfast was very nice, loved the pastries.

Alarm clocks/ phone chargers need to be updated.can only charge a very old iPhone or ipod

Chestnut Hill is an old hotel that has an antique charm. My room was clean, the bed was comfortable, and the property was walkable, with restaurants and art galleries, and a nice grocery store located across from the hotel (Fresh Market). It also has a descent restaurant attached to the hotel, and they offer a nice free breakfast with your stay.

I chose this property because it is only ten minutes from the Morris Arboretum and Gardens. The hotel is a gem with a wonderfully unique historical personality. The front staff and cleaning staff were great. They offer bottles of cold water at the front desk on request. The room had comfortable beds, a nice shower, a desk, good TV channels, and a fridge— everything I needed. I loved the Nespresso machine in the room , which came with six coffee capsules and half&half. I did not hear other guests. The free continental breakfast had enough choices that anyone could be satisfied, and included coffee, Chobani yogurt, honey, assorted breads to toast, packets of oa**eal, oranges, and bananas. I plan to come back— a long street of wonderful shops and restaurants is right outside the hotel, plus it is an easy walk to the SEPTA train to center city.

Old fashioned hotel and facilities. Staff very helpful and friendly. Has a corner on the local market—few other options available.
