Siamo stati qui all’inizio del Tour e non ci era dispiaciuto. Sì, ci sono tanti lavoretti da fare, imbiancature, mattonelle del pavimento scheggiate ecc ma complessivamente poteva andare anche se cose come la serratura che ho fotografato si preferirebbe non vederle in un Hotel . Wi-Fi buono e safety box nella stanza. La cena è buona così come la colazione. La stanza che ci avevano dato era grande con un letto king size e questo è un vantaggio. Torniamo dopo due setti***e di tour e ripassiamo da qui per una notte prima dell'aereo per il ritorno ed ecco che la stanza che ci danno è rimpicciolita così come il letto che è una piazza e mezzo o poco più. Pure il bagno è più piccolo. Inutile dire che lo scherzo non ci è piaciuto. E poi, da quando chi è già cliente viene penalizzato quando torna?!? Non posso dire di essere rimasto contento, quindi non lo consiglierei ai miei amici.
Gud rooms ,nice food,all the staff members are very friendly. I am very grateful to be in this hotel since from the very beginning of my visit the way the front office staff greated me with a smile they help me in whatever way it is possible .. They attend to my calls and response to my request and at the end I would like to thank again to the Restaurant staff members also the way they serve me and there is also room service in the hotel..I will recommend for the other people's to visit this hotel .. As the name suggests, it’s a decent hotel for quick travellers, who don’t expect much. But sometimes, basic expectations are disappointing as well. The rooms are sufficient, with the basic of basic needs met. A shower, twin beds, a washroom, locker, mini fridge and a basin is all that is there. Yes some rooms have a work table as well. The concerns start outside the room, lack of AC in the dining area, non operational lifts, blocked sinks, non operational ac in the room, an entrance which does not have a canopy, etc are the things I have seen in a 3 night stay. The staff is relatively inexperienced and try to handle the situation, but can get annoying at times.

Hospitality is another name for Raddison Blu Egmore 👍 .Staff are very courteous Clean rooms following all protocols are their specialty.A place of safety away from home. Overall, extremely satisfied.
Its nicely located in the middle of old town. but this means that the views are boring. i think the hotel is just coming out of covid issues as it is understaffed and most of the resaturants are closed and the food its iffy at best. i spend the the first hour of my stay as they relaced the mini fridge that had stopped wokking and had leaked all over the wood cabinet leading to a stink. next day i spend three hours waiting for maintaince to water proof the bathroom that was leaking into the sleeping area. the third day i had to watch for an hour as the Ac maintaince were trying to repair a leak which had seeped into the false ceiling leading to a new smell.
The rooms are nice and spacious. so are teh bathroom but the WC is located in a tiny alcove in the bathroom making it unconfortable to reach for the health faucet. teh towels are clean and the beds confortable.
the writing cair and table are well made and teh easy chair is also comfortable even for a big sized *** like me. the laundry service is efficient. the complimentary Tata branded tea and coffee is undrinkable, so is whatever brand of creamer they use. i dont undersand why they dont just use amul and nescafe.
inroom entertainment is still just basic tamil cable TV.
room cleanliness is average with cobwebs on the bathroom sink and tea stains on the floor. again this is due to understaffing and overworking the existing staff. the staff themself is very helpful and hardworking.
the restaurant is understaffed but despite this, the staff were helpful and pleasant. and the chef's range is a bit limited.
the lobby area is nice and spacious, but the corridors poorly maintained with gaps in the carpets and the floors leading to repeated tripping risks. the carpets stink.
the pool on the roof is nice and large but can only be used ealy mornings or in the evenings as it has no awning. I had a pleasant swim one evening and wounddown on the comfortable deck chairs. the changing rooms leave a lot to be desired. the gym is well equipped. they have a spa but didnt have male massuese so could be utilized. but it looked clean and pleasant.
wifi connectivity was good through out the hotel and not spotty at all.
basically this could be a great hotel if they staffed it well and updated basic infrastcuture and threw out their stinking carpets. But it looks like staff will be made to do more and more with less and less.
would i visit again? unlikely.
This is a lovely little hotel in the Egmore district. Stayed here for 2 nights - rooms were clean, comfortable, spacious. There is a very small gym on the 4th floor that needs some maintenance but is functional. The restaurant is very good and both breakfast and supper were enjoyable. There are several shops and eateries within easy walking distance. The WiFi was good when working. The staff were helpful and friendly. If I came to Chennai again I would happily stay here - it’s family friendly and comfortable.
Excellent food, good service by Taj Wellington team. We had a great time spend at banquet at Taj hotel. Lunch food was very good. We will thanks to anuj jha, manger and their supportive staff Akshay, deepak, Suresh,sudhakar, trishna ,jelly,Rahul, Mehul and Ajith and lokesh. All are very helpful. We also thanks to chef mayank and shrishti for fresh curry preparation. Thank you team .
The visit was to conduct a Customer Service Training program for one day. All needful arrangements from Note pad, Pen, Water Bottle, LCD Projector and Writing Board/Markers were arranged on time and the session went smooth and comfortably. The snacks, Tea and Lunch arrangement was excellent. I appreciate the efforts taken by Thiru in giving us the best experience. I would recommend this service to everyone willing to choose Raj Palace.

Special thanks to the Chef : Hithayathullah S I would rate a promoter score if there were a NPS survey 😊 Finally the Banquet ***ager Divya was a great person to work with, she ensured all our meeting needs are taken care from the Quote estimation to Final Invoice.
DDato Sri KanapathyI have stay in room no ***. Very sad to said how this property is classified as 5 star. The reason there is no mini fridge in the room. I have meet Duty manager Mr.Rishi he told me upon request from guest then only they will place the fridge. This 1st time I come to know this kind of services.
Secondly I went to bar at lobby to have glass of beer. A female staff was there and told me small glass price is RS 550. So I gave her RS 1000 and she gave me balance of RS 300. I was shocked. Then the bar manager came and told me she mistakenly mentioned. Then I meet Floor Manager Mr. Varun and the explain everything. He feel sorry about it. So I definitely won’t recommend to anyone to stay here
