We arrived 11.30pm after a tiring all dayvwedding ceremony wanting to just get in bed and rest. Check in was quick and receptionist was friendly. Arrived at the room and could hear a disco inside. Opened thebdoor, curtains was closed, tv blaring dance music, the mattress was off the bed along with the bedding, like a raver had ransacked it. We honestly thought we'd been given the wrong key. Down to reception, it took an hour to sort, at Midnight, no complimentary coffee, water etc, just told to sit in the bar with load of drunks, we got someone else's room who hadn't checked in yet, they were full due to race day. Absolutely shocking, i mean, some customer care with a drink or a breakfast upgrade even. All we had was being told it was the previous shifts fault etc we don't care who's fault it was. The whole experience was awful, didn't sleep a wink. No email or anyone above receptionist to complwin to. Just told to fill in a feedback form.
