Very pleasant & helpful staff.
Good food & convenient location for our requirements.
The rooms are in need of a refurbishment, despite which they are warm & comfortable.
No doubt we will be back for another stay.

Both nights woken at 04.10am by bottles emptied in wheelie bin. Mentioned to reception in morning but still happened following day.

We stayed for two nights in this very nice hotel. We had a room on the ground floor where we were able to get the car parked right outside of the room , so didn't have to go far with luggage etc. The staff were really good and helpful.
We had breakfast twice and an evening meal during our stay, the food and service were first class.
We were visiting the Beamish Museum during our stay so it was very handy for that being only about five minutes drive away.
We will certainly use this hotel again.

I don’t give praise easily but this hotel was amazing. The ground floor rooms had patio doors so was able to park car right outside. The rooms were very generous in size. The bed was huge. Bed linen was lovely. Blackout curtains. Nice bathroom with bath and endless hot water. We had an evening meal and the food was exceptional!! Breakfast the next day was fantastic. The staff were so lovely and accommodating. I will definitely stay again. 10 min drive from Beamish museum. Fantastic!!

Lovely hotel in a great location for our visit to Beamish Museum. Menu and food was excellent and very competitive prices. Staff were very friendly and helpful.
Parking right outside the patio doors of the room was great.
Thoroughly enjoyed our stay and we will return. Definitely recommend.
