Great location. My room was very clean and spacious. I really loved the decoration of the room as well.

Overall we had a great stay at the hotel. The location, although it appears on google maps to be a little outside of the city centre, is actually very convenient. There are several bus lines that will get you to the city centre (which for me, means the DuSable bridge) in less than 10 minutes. A couple of things to note. To access the free WiFi you need to have a Bonvoy account (free to create) Regarding the breakfast, Trip.com seems to display inverted information. It was available Monday to Friday in the 1600 Club (lower floor of the hotel) but IS NOT available on a weekend.

They told me they are going to return our money back because they could not provide with room and send us to another hotel. They told they will pay for the stay they had to return our money back but I did not receive back

First, our reservation was missing somehow, although I handed the front desk my confirmation email from *******. We started panicking. Than the manager suddenly found it. Or just figure out to better give us another room, they were not fully booked. The room was very small and next to the supply room and cleaning staff. They were talking loudly in the mornings and woke us up two of the days. On the day we had to checkout, which is noon according to their web, the cleanings lady started knocking on the door 9:36 am and when I opened she told me bluntly that I have to leave. Never in my long history of hotel stays something like this ever happened. When I checked out I was not asked by the staff how my stay was. It was very hot when we visited, no complimentary water was offered, no information about the facilities was offered. The staff was not friendly, they all looked grumpy and tried to get you out of their hair as fast as possible. I was treated better at motels. This is def not a 4 star hotel and I will definitely not bookings it again.

It was a convenient location but the shower didn’t work and I stayed only one night. When I mentioned it at checkout there was no attempt made to make it right by a voucher for a future stay or discount.

The staff was great, i had a perfect view of the lake. My boyfriend played the blues fest and it was my birthday weekend. The location was perfect. We walked to the theater and took a 5 minute lyft ride to the restaurant. Only thing is the parking was expensive at $75 a night. The valet staff was great. I only parked one night because the location was great and we could walk to what we needed or take a short lyft ride
