Just hope the room odor can be cleared. other than that everything is good.

Great space that was quiet and walkable (inside) to McCormick for an event. Parking was pricey, but that's true everywhere in Chicago. Starbucks closed early (4pm) which was a bit surprising. Overall a very good stay.

It was cool. But I had booked a king and when I got there my room wasn’t ready then I was offered two queen I denied just to come back and was put in a room with two queen. Told me there was nothing they could do.

The hotel itself was great, but at check-in, I was told that my 3 month old reservation for a single king room had been upgraded to a double queen. When I told the clerk it was a down grade for a couple not an upgrade, he said it was because I had booked through a third party (*******) and I could try to get it changed in the morning, but everything was booked due to events in the area. I decided not to waste the day as I was there to visit family, not events. Then, two of the four nights the rooftop bar was off limits for private events, this would have been good to know ahead of time, as between this and the room, I would have booked another hotel.

Unfortunately, we had a very bad experience at the Hilton Garden Inn. Our mini fridge wasn't working and had smelly leftover food from previous guests. We turned in the leftover bag and items, and requested getting the mini fridge fixed but nobody ever came. The sweetener bag in our room had also been used by the previous guests and was not replaced. Unfortunately, after being told our room was paid in full, we noticed a charge after having checked out. Upon calling the hotel we were consistently told that the charge was additional taxes and that a receipt cannot be provided. Overall, I would not recommend this hotel or the two other hotels on the same property as they use the same staff.

Room could use more cleanliness
I could find stains in bathtub, hair on floor
Also empty shower gel bottles and I requested for refill which never happened

The hotel staff was very friendly and helpful. Parking was a bit stressful, after a 7+ hour drive, it wouldve been nice to have clearly accessible parking. Ended up paying the extra fee for valet, just to avoid trying to find actual parking in the crazy traffic, definitely something to consider beforehand. Valets were all friendly and courteous, though. Hotel was clean and comfortable. I didnt venture to the pool or fitness room or partake in the breakfast, so I cant speak on those. It was nice to have a Starbucks in the hotel, though the choices were quite limited. Overall, it was a pleasant stay.
