A good location close to motorway North ,plenty of food options on site. A very polite and helpful lady at reception. Great night rest for onward journey North tomorrow

Was handy location for a visit to see my friend. Shame not all the staff on reception know about the way to get out so that you do not pay the tolls. The person who did know pulled out an A4 laminated card to show me so it is obviously a question they get asked a lot. Clean hotel and hand as in the same building as the services so easy access to grab something to eat.

Went there for 3 nights.. everything was ok except there was police knocked up at 5 o'clock in the morning and they opened my door and came in without my permission..I was in deep sleep..at the end they said it was their mistake.. horrible experience..how come they gave the key to my room from reception..next morning I informed reception .. there was other receptionist who tried to give explanation and gave me£10 voucher..but very terrible experience.

Friendly staff on reception. Reception area warm and welcoming. Room clean and exactly what we needed. Great for our long journey south.

The staff were all lovely and wanted to help if they could. However we arrived fairly late into the evening to find the heater not working in the room. It was very cold! We asked about the heater and two staff members explained that they were the same in all rooms. They over heated and needed to be turned on/off several times until they came on, then they would work for a little while before cutting out. I have concerns about their safety, given this information.

Have stayed here many times before, as it breaks up our journey from Scotland to the south coast. Sadly this time the room was looking very tired, needs a good makeover, & not as clean as usual, all needs upgrading.

Noisy room on the 1st floor facing the staff car park banging noises all night Shower had black mould

Room was great-clean and comfortable. Only downside was the very thin walls and noisy neighbours!

Good overnight accommodation if needing a stop off friendly reception, rooms could do with a little TLC bathroom bath sealant a bit grubby but overall ok
