Hotel does have potential but I wouldn’t stay again. Such a shame! Please be aware that the hotel manager makes up prices and charges what he wants - which is shocking really and is conning customers. Word of mouth is a big thing therefore having so many customers talking about the same thing isn’t going to help business in the future, they really should take into consideration- that people would return, if they have a good experience with them. And they would recommend the hotel to other family members and friends which would be extremely helpful for business as the hotel seems to be failing, unfortunately. There was no hand wash on the hotel room, no music in the bar (I would recommend having some music to create some sort of atmosphere) and not charge so much for beer or house wine which actually caused me to come out in an awful rash on my face and neck (I have photos) Staff were nice enough, especially the gentleman who served us at the bar, but as the manager is effectively making up prices, we wouldn’t go back. We would’ve booked the hotel again in the future If that didn’t happen but it did. If you read other reviews on several sites, a lot of customers are stating the same so we can’t all be wrong. Again, such a shame as they’ve lost customers in the future.
