Patching Place in Clarendon wat een heel aangename verrassing. Wat een fijne B&B is dit. Hebben er 2 nachten overnacht. Mooie kamers. Alles lekker schoon. Heerlijk ontbijt en een eigenaar die je nog even vertelt wat je kunt doen, waar je het beste kunt eten. Fijn hoor. Voor herhaling vatbaar.

Wow, wow, wow! Such incredible hospitality right in the heart of Clarens. Johan and Tim's attention to luxurious detail was exquisite, the novel breakfast tier was ample and scrumptious and the room I got was thoughtfully decorated to the highest standard, with the most eye-catching (and comfortable) head-board creating a sense of amazing spaciousness in addition to the stunning mountain view. I will most definitely be back when next I pass through, hopefully to enjoy the garden suite next!

We appreciated the attention to detail in the room. The quality of everything was of the highest standard and very tastefully set out. The breakfast the next morning was in such an exquisite setting and the three-tiered tray with goodies was just a very special touch. Once again the quality of the crockery and cutlery was excellent and the food was equally great! Thank you Johan and Tim for making our stay in beautiful Clarens a memorable one and we will definitely be back soon.

We enjoyed the stay. The rooms are big and comfortable, with a great on the mountains. The hosts are friendly and they do a lavish breakfast. In the garden is full of birdlife and if you need peace this is the place.

Patcham Place ticks all the boxes. It is perfectly located (close to the centre but away from noise) and thoughtfully run by a lovely men who pays incredible attention to detail. Definitely full marks.

Great host, great location, great value for money. I would highly recommend Patcham Place for a wonderful stay in Clarens. Room 3 was very cozy and the view from the balcony is spectacular. Overall an awesome stay.

What a beautiful little place. Clean and comfortable room with beautiful view of the mountain. Was spoiled with sherry and chocolates in my room. Location is perfect in a quite street yet easy walk to town I can definitely recommend this little gem in Clarens

This is the third time I have stayed with Karel and it won't be the last. Everything is perfect. Location, attention to detail, service. It is such a pleasure to arrive, have a wonderful shower, have a sip of the complementary sherry (if that is your thing) and then walk the 2 min to town to find something to eat or just explore.

Stopped off in Clarens on our way back to Johannesburg. Guest house was close to the Centre of Clarens and the restaurants. Lovely Garden and very comfortable room. Dining area very cosy and the breakfast was excellent. Karel the owner was a great host.

We had a great time at the Patcham, Karel is such a friendly host. He gets up early to make the best breakfast there is! The rooms are nice and clean, we had an amazing view from the balcony. There is coffee in your room and fresh milk in the fridge, and even a bottle of sherry!! I would definitely recommend!

An excelent position in Clarence , hop and a skip to the square . Tranquil garden , very quiet . I was downstairs so had a small view of mountain , but enjoyed view at breakfast on the deck . Thank you Karel for your hospitality.
