Best Western Plus the Inn at Hells Canyon

Top notch hot breakfast! The pool and fitness room are very nice. The decor of the lobby and hallways and rooms are up-to-date and reflect the culture of the area.

Asked for early check-in at 1:00pm and told the rooms weren’t cleaned yet. Promised they would be ready at 3:00pm. Came back after 3:00pm and told the rooms weren’t cleaned yet. Went to dinner and came back at 5:30pm and we’re finally able to check in. Asked for adjoining rooms and told they didn’t have any. Got checked into one of our rooms and it had an adjoining door to a room that was not rented that night. The grout in the shower needs a good cleaning. Other than that the rooms were very clean and comfortable.

Great newer hotel. 4th time staying. Caught them at a busy breakfast time at 7:30am today. The scrambled eggs were not re filled in the 30 minutes I was there. I was told they were coming our I could order from the omlet bar. Hash browns were under cooked and missing for 15 minutes upon arrival. Coffee machine need a re set and the caraffe was empty as the other option. Had to ask for help. Overall, nice hotel and usually satisfied with breakfast, but not this time.

They didn’t give me the room I paid for and then the guy at the front desk said “I can’t do anything about it, I’m just the night guy” Totally incompetent.

The area leaves a lot to be desired but this place is clean and quiet.

The rates for this hotel we absurd due to a family weekend at WSU. I paid the high rate, because we had stayed there before, and they have a breakfast omelet bar that works well for my family who is mostly gluten intolerant. They were understaffed, and the omelet bar was close with almost no gluten free options. Lots of small annoying things that will prevent me from returning. Front desk guy told me about his problems when I checked in. Soap that does not rinse off! Seriously, even my kids brought it up on the last trip, and they don’t care about that stuff. Table and charging receptacle on one side of the bed! I would be fine with all this at $150 a night, but not at 2.5x that much.

Check in was easy and quick with friendly staff. Room was very clean. This will be our go-to hotel from now on whenever we visit our son at U of I.

Hands down best breakfast ever! Made-to-order omelets, in addition to the waffles, meat, and potato options can't be beat. Very impressed!

Lights were a joke, need better system, not handicap accessible, nasty tile in bathroom, room echoed, hotel smelled weird, unable to get service to open door when lost key even used house phone and had to sleep in my truck.
