Lovely hotel, Fabulous staff, delicious food! What more can you want. Special mention to the reception girls, always very helpful and welcoming Stayed a few times and always get a great deal and an enjoyable stay. Can’t wait to come back again!

Really disappointed, went for a birthday meal with family, had the mixed grill, it was awful, everywhere else I've had a mixed grill, you get, sausage, gammon, lamb chop, chicken breast, steak, not here, small piece of gammon, one very dry sausage and the steak, well they managed to hide it under a fried egg, service was not very good either, had to wait ages at the bar and it took them almost half an hour to make a cappuccino, their excuse was they had a wedding party in as well, sorry but they should have made sure everyone was catered for and ensured there was enough staff and equipment to cover the evening, would I return, short answer, No.

This was my second visit here and it was really enjoyable. I was on a great value all-inclusive deal. There were more staff for the dining than on my previous stay and it made a real difference. The dinners and breakfasts merited 9 out of 10 and the choice of free drinks from 6-11 pm was excellent. I paid a bit extra to stay in room 4, which overlooked the gardens and was super.

My sister & I booked a deal off Travelzoo for Dinner, bed & breakfast, afternoon tea & the all inclusive drinks package in the evening. It was a great deal. The food was lovely & plentiful with a good choice on the menu. The drinks package was also extremely good & although not big drinkers, there’s plenty of choice as part of the deal for those who are. Our room was in the annexe, decent size room, very clean, just a bit tired decor wise but for 1 night it was more than adequate. Nice terrace to sit out but unfortunately the weather was a bit temperamental. A Tv is in the lounge area if you want to watch it. All staff were extremely polite, friendly & helpful. Plenty of parking. We couldn’t fault our stay for the price we paid & would definitely stay again.

Arrived yesterday Wednesday 19 June for an overnight stay of bb and evening meal plus free bar 6-11pm. All members of staff excellent and helpful we would certainly return. Staff were preparing rooms for a wedding ceremony this afternoon Thursday and that looked wonderful

Our wedding at the higher trapp Hotel was nothing short of magical, and it was all thanks to the incredible team led by Megan and Kerris and team. From the very beginning, they went above and beyond to ensure that every detail was perfect. Megan's and Kerris's organizational skills and eye for detail were evident in every aspect of the planning process. They made us feel at ease, handling our requests with grace and efficiency. On the day of the wedding, the entire staff exceeded our expectations. The venue looked breathtaking, the service was impeccable, and every team member was attentive and friendly. They worked seamlessly to ensure that everything ran smoothly, allowing us to fully enjoy our day without a single worry. We are so grateful to Megan, Kerris, and the entire team for their dedication, professionalism, and genuine care. They made our wedding day an unforgettable celebration of love, and we couldn't have asked for a better experience. Thank you for making our dream wedding a reality! Our 2nd time @ the Higher Trapp, on their all inclusive deal, this time we took our dog (his 1st time in a hotel). We were housed in the annex which was, as expected, very clean and comfortable. The staff were all lovely, Millie on reception was very helpful and made a fuss of the dog. The evening meal - served in the lounge where the dog was welcome - was very nice (although we just had a main meal and not the 2 courses offered with the deal). We then enjoyed a few drinks in the lounge with the dog by our side. Breakfast was a nice selection to choose from and served by a lovely chatty lady (sorry didn't get her name). We will be back and perhaps try the other hotels in the group

Stayed with my husband on the All inclusive deal. Food was amazing. Lovely service, all staff are super friendly. Holly on reception was so welcoming and explained the deal to us. Emily and Joe were so helpful and friendly down in the restaurant. A young girl who was working was also very friendly (sorry forgot her name). Gardens are so beautiful and we will definitely be returning. Thank you Trapp team!!

Me and my husband got married on the 10.05.24 at the beautiful HigherTrapp Hotel. It really was the most amazing day. The food was absolutely outstanding! The staff couldn’t have done any more for us and our guests they went above & beyond. I would like to thank Kerris & Megan for helping us plan out our special day, exceeding all our expectations. Emily our wedding coordinator for the day, you went above and beyond for us both and for that we’re truly grateful. Our day ran so smoothly so thankyou once again Emily. All our family and Friends still talk about the day and how it was the best wedding they’ve ever been too A big thankyou to all the Trapp Team for being outstanding. Love Mr & Mrs Untulis xx
