科巴房車公園(Cobar Caravan Park)

Der zur G-Day Gruppe gehörende Cobar Holiday Park ist für für einen Zwischenstop gut geeignet. Unsere grasige Site 24 bot dank einiger Bäume Sonnenschutz an dem sehr heissen Tag. Herrlich anzuschauen die blühenden Jacaranda-Bäume und die lustigen Quails in Frühlingsstimmung. Das Ortszentrum mit einigen historischen Bauten ist einen Kilometer entfernt. Der von freundlichen Leuten geführte Platz ist sehr sauber, bietet gute Duschen und Ruhe.

Nice big campground with good size powered sites. Only one amenities block was open, so it was very busy. It was ok. Good camp kitchen and BBQ. Unfortunately, there are a lot of trucks passing by, and some of them park on the road right outside the campground. Since it was hot, they had the AC running, which meant a lot of noise. This is a shame for an otherwise nice campground.

A nice Pet Friendly Large, Open Plan Park with plenty of Shade and a Country atmosphere. All shops close by, The Care Takers were very Helpful. Would Recommend to All travelling to Stop here , price $42 a night for a site was reasonable in the current Economy.

Upon arriving at the caravan park we were early to check in, the lady running the park was very abrupt when she spoke with us telling us that she wasn’t ready for us, we told her that we were happy to wait, she huffed off then came back telling us which site was ours. The park was not busy with visitors but she put us in a site with no shade even though there was plenty of empty sites with shady trees. Once we had set up our caravan we headed to the amenities block to find they hadn’t been cleaned for at least 3 days & probably longer as there was black & orange mould growing on the tiles in the showers, there was even a note at the door asking people to help with the cleaning by using the mop & bucket conveniently left at the door inside the block, this was in both the male & female bathrooms. Would not recommend to anyone to stay here.

Cobar Caravan Park has improved out of sight since our previous visits 2002 and 2010. Great sites and very well kept. Noticed the amenities were being given a “freshen up” around 5 pm. We were in a motel room this time.. one of the new ones and it was excellent!! The temporary manager and staff all doing great job. Fantastic fire pit!! Lots to see if you have a spare day.

After days of driving we both agreed to have a rest so we pulled into the Cobar Caravan park, lovely lady at the counter was great, we opted for a powered site, good vary large sites, I could leave my van on the vehicle, toilet and shower clean and large area to wash. Close to town etc. Thanks 👍

We have had great overnight stays many a times at Cobar great place to stay & great staff would recommend to any grey nomads out there 👍👍 to cut down on stress take the time & stay at new places breaking up your trip enjoy

We stayed twice in a cabin in the Cobar Caravan Park. Once in October & once in November. Both times in the same cabin which I asked for & got. It is an older cabin, but very clean & lots of room. Good size fridge, & the kitchen is user friendly. Nice quiet Air/Con. Helpful & friendly staff at check-in. Carport. Great for when it is raining. We will stay there again. We score this cabin 9/10.

We stopped here for 2 nights on our way home from South Australia. This is a great caravan park, with sites very roomy and easy to get into. Although it is situated on the main road the noise is not a problem. The showers are very clean and lots of hot water and room. The grounds themselves have plenty of grass and are well kept. The staff are super friendly and helpful. - Tip make sure you book before your arrive as it is super busy and you may not get in. Would def recommend staying if you are passing through town.
