陶森希爾頓歡朋酒店(Hampton Inn by Hilton Towson)

The hotel is new, clean and there's a very nice breakfast. It's a city hotel, so the room was smaller than other Hampton Inns, but comfortable with nice amenities (fridge, microwave, coffee maker, usb ports) and a big TV. Home2suites shares the building and the floor. The self-parking is expensive ($20/day) and is a walk up a hill to a public lot.. The valet staff was nice and let me unload and check-in before parking. The front desk staff, however, was remote and unfriendy. It wasn't explained how parking worked - other than that the charge would be added to the room. It meant a trudge back to the car in a thunderstorm to get a ticket previously left in the car. It is to be validated at the front desk. I won't be going back. There was no maid service for a 3 day stay. Service is supposedly "every other day." I had to ask for extra towels and put trash outside the door when the baskets were full. (I also know nose rings are popular - but people wearing them are hard for me to look at. After seeing too many kids with runny noses, what looks like metal buggers coming out of people's noses, gives me a startling bad physical reaction - Sorry - can't help it.)

I didn't read the description very thoroughly, since we were mainly looking for a Hampton Inn that was close to friends we are visiting, so i didn't notice that it was downtown, and that parking was not free, which is not the case at the interstate locations we usually choose. But the staff are very well trained, friendly and helpful, and the room and facilities are what we always expect from the brand, so we are happy!

Good value for the price! Plenty of eating options and Whole Foods is literally across the street. We got in after 1 am and no problem checking in nor parking. Self parking is $20 which was better than the valet of $30 with in and out option. Garage is only a block walk from the property. Mall is about 2 blocks away with movie theater and more dining options. Clean facility. Excellent breakfast included with your stay. Many options including but not limited to breakfast sandwiches, oatmeal, self make waffles, hot entrees and other’s selections. Love how they even have filter water right outside the bathroom in the lobby just like in the airport. Their toiletries such as shampoo, soap, lotion, etc smelled amazing! Will definitely stay here again!

Great hotel, good location, comfortable, and wide breakfast. Fast elevator. Polite and courteous staff. Valet was quick, tough to park otherwise. Overpriced to park, suggest Cash tipping ...hate using the app that takes as much in fees than tip. Terrible experience when trying to get to our hotel every night, people parked in the road with flashers to pick up food across the street making it impassable.

Way too much noise in the street at night extra 40 plus dollars a day for parking Hotel is fine if you don't need your car

I liked the location of the area. The restaurant's and stores are at a walking distance. Room was spacious , I'll definitely be back when i need to go to Maryland again.

Nice, updated, clean and quiet hotel. The Whole Foods and proximity to the mall was great. Will stay here if I’m ever in the area again.

5 star valet staff 5 star front desk 5 star room cleanliness and smell 5 star breakfast More than we expected. We will be back.

Almost a good place to stay, except parking is offsite and cost $20 for self parking or $30 for valet.
