我72歲,習慣了傳統酒店忍不住住在這裏。看起來瘋狂到敢。而且不一樣。房間aka盒子是承諾的,牀很舒服,衛生間也夠大。友好,樂於助人,參與在那裏工作的人。早餐就像房間一樣,很小。半尺寸麪包等與6歐元的價格標籤不匹配。總的來說,這是一個奇怪但愉快的體驗。非常因爲個人。

We stayed in very nice hotels on our Portugal trip. The ”stories” are mostly about how easy they were to reach and how convenient they were for parking. ”Reaching” this one involved a 15-minute re-route, but once we took the right turn, parking was a breeze! The hotel sits opposite the retaining wall of the university above it. Guests can park all along the wall on the alley approaching the hotel and then place a parking permit on their dash. Finding the hotel in the first place was trickier! GPS had us approaching it. We were SO close! But we missed the last narrow, alley-like turn. Suddenly we had a 15-minute re-route until we could approach the hotel again. Play very close attention to your GPS!! Nice location. Nice room. Nice breakfast. Helpful staff.

在這家民宿住了三個晚上，民宿就在共和廣場旁邊，穿過共和廣場往前走100米就到了著名的科英布拉大學，科英布拉移民局也在附近250米的距離。民宿最大的亮點是位於一樓的公共廚房和起居室，裏面設備完備，想自己做點吃的非常方便，廚房通往酒店的小院，有上下兩個平台，種了橙子，碩果累累，可以隨意採摘。酒店的清潔阿姨非常熱情友好。有機會再來科英布拉，一定還會住這家民宿。

Tive uma experiência maravilhosa na Pousada da Juventude de Coimbra! Desde o momento da chegada até a partida, tudo foi impecável. O atendimento foi extremamente cordial e profissional, fazendo-me sentir bem-vinda durante toda a estadia. Os quartos em que fiquei são espaçosos, limpos e muito confortáveis. As instalações são boas e o pequeno almoço é excelente, com fruta e uma ampla seleção de itens frescos e saborosos. A localização da Pousada é excelente, com fácil acesso às principais atrações da cidade. Além disso, a equipa de colaboradores esteve disponível para fornecer recomendações e ajudar no que foi preciso. Recomendo a Pousada da Juventude de Coimbra sem nenhuma hesitação e certamente voltarei em futuras viagens. Uma experiência a repetir!

Silvia was our receptionist and go-to person. She was truly AMAZING! She is a delightful young lady who was our contact person, greeted us, carried our luggage ( the stairs were a bit difficult for me), called taxis for us, brought extra blankets, prepared breakfast, recommended restaurants and sites in Ciombra…there was nothing she wasn’t available to do. She was always smiling and friendly. While the property is on a large piece of land and is farm like it is NOT in the countryside. It is in a suburban area 10-15 minutes from Coimbra. We were specifically attracted to being in the countryside so this was a disappointment. Even with Apple CarPlay, our gps system, we missed the street several times. The name of the street is not well marked. The property is behind a lovely gate and parking is readily available. This was a plus. Our room was very large ( bedroom, separate living room, bathroom, entry space)and had lovely views overlooking the grounds, the pool and distant mountains. We booked on *********** “ Family Room with Balcony” 441 sq/ft. and stayed Sept 29-Oct.1. The room was stylish and very clean with big windows overlooking the grounds. However there were many flaws. There were no glasses for water in the room, no water provided, no conditioner in the shower, no robes or slippers, only 2 very flat pillows, one set of towels. We were offered use of the communal kitchen but this was not inviting. We were shown the refrigerator and told there was a different shelf designated for each room. Too much like a college dorm or work fridge. We could use the kitchen as we wished but did not avail ourselves. Silvia did immediately bring us an extra duvet when we found the room too cold. She did offer to turn the radiators on but we were afraid we would find it too hot.There was no thermostat for us to control. There were enough outlets for adapters and charging cables. We did not expect USB ports as is common in Portugal.wi-fi was good. The worst was the shower. It’s a beautiful walk in with a rain shower but on the first morning my husband had cold water. I had scalding hot then tepid then cold. And yes…we do know how to turn on and adjust the water. On the second morning we both had COLD showers. The hair dryer was terrible…barely dried my short hair. The room was not serviced. We came back after a long day exploring Coimbra to find an unmade bed and wet towels. So we made the bed and used wet towels… The breakfast, again Silvia was the star, was in a small dark room with a buffet selection on a narrow sideboard. There were decent choices…cheeses, bread and good coffee and scrambled eggs. One table was so close to the sideboard we couldn’t access those foods without being rude. We did take taxis into Coimbra . We thankfully had a hotel address card to show drivers for our return trip. Even with that, both drivers had a difficult time finding the property. 訪訪客What a terrific hotel. New, clean, quiet, comfortable room and excellent customer service from all the staff. Had a soft supportive king bed, bar refrigerator, tea and coffee station and lots of storage. Breakfast was extensive with some hot offerings (scrambled eggs and bacon), cold cuts, cheese, breads for toasting and buns plus pastries and fruit…and a coffee and tea station in a beautiful setting - either inside or out. A short walk takes you to the river walk and parks and the great restaurants are just outside the hotel door - literally. We had some wonderful pasta on one night and tried the salt cod and steak at the other place just next door.

Charming. Yes, it is a little old fashioned but as it sails serenely towards its 100th birthday we found it a lovely antidote to the identikit modernity offered by so many tourist hotels. The location is just about perfect for travellers as it's only a few minutes walk from both the railway station and the main street. The staff are superb; welcoming and a very good source of information if required.
