Just a glorious house in a quiet location. Superb food and accommodation. Most of the items on the menu were tempting, and it was pleasantly tricky deciding exactly what to eat Staff are fantastic too! Well trained, interested and motivated. Can’t ask for more. Thank you. A satisfying relaxing evening after a long week

What can we say, we stayed here for several nights. There is ABSOLUTELY no negatives, from the staff, room [we upgraded to the four poster] The setting is beautiful and the interior is so warm and welcoming as was the reception we had. The food, again what can we say, it was wonderful, staff so attentive but not intrusive It's not often we do this but would 100% recommend a stay here We are hoping to go back.

Had a really good time! Everything is very clean and in fantastic condition, beautifully decorated. The hotel grounds are very pleasant, there's excellent breakfast, great staff and we both would very much like to stay here again. We had dinner too, well worth it, the restaurant here deserves its reputation. Thank you!

An amazing stay. The staff were so friendly and welcoming. Nothing was too much trouble. Our room was beautifully decorated and had lovely comfortable chairs where we could sit and look over the gardens whilst having a cuppa in the morning. Dinner was definitely sensational especially the soufflé starter and the lamb. Thank you all

After our stay last year, we decided we would return and this time it was our reward for the stresses and strains of moving house - well any excuse really. Quirky room but with walk in shower and very comfortable. It was hot though although a fan was thoughtfully provided. Air conditioning is rather hard to install in historic buildings !! Food here is outstanding and we are for both nights in the hotel. Yes it’s not cheap but you get what you pay for and this was a real treat. I enjoyed beef one night and haddock the second and both were equally good. Brilliant starters and desserts too! A good range of wines available as well. Staff are fantastic and a big shout out to the young lady who serves breakfast and the two young men and young lady who worked so hard to make dinner into a memorable occasion. Taxi from the hotel to Lincoln Cathedral cost us £12.90 - so we avoided climbing Steep Hill but we did walk down and shopped a lot before catching the bus back - about a 10 minute ride from the bus station. Lincoln is a lovely City and staying in Washingborough Hall makes it special. We shall return. We shall return.

Once you are here you can’t fault it. Lovely grounds, fantastic service and very clean and comfortable rooms. Only criticism I have is that ahead of our stay I sent 3 emails each of which had to be followed up a week or so later as I hadn’t had a reply. This did make me feel a little uncertain as to what was in store for us, but my fears were unfounded. The place is lovely, admin needs fine tuning!

Second visit to this magnificent hotel and did not disappoint . Welcomed by Ester and could not fault her charm and warmth. Room was very well appointed , bed super comfortable and great bathroom with walk in rain shower. We booked in for the evening meal and was a fine dining experience as it was last time we stayed. Check out time and Ester was her usual cheery self and it just made is feel great. All the staff were superb , one comment ,we missed Jacob 2 the robot grass cutting machine so hope is repaired soon

My wife and I have nothing but praise for Washingborough Hall Hotel. I made a mess up of our booking, which the hotel sorted out with a minimum of fuss and from that moment nothing was too much trouble. The staff were lovely, the food excellent, the hotel very comfortable in a lovely property, the location near Lincoln easy to get to and beautifully peaceful and our room, No. 6, quirky but we loved it. We could not find fault and have no hesitation in recommending this hotel. We certainly hope to return.

Staff all genuinely friendly and welcoming throughout. Rooms clean,comfortable and quiet. Food beautifully presented, imaginative and the ingedients of excellent quality at both breakfast and dinner. Only downside was that the age and layout of the building resulted in a number of stairs up and down within the hotel. But a small price to pay for a hotel which is currently one of the best we have stayed at in the last couple of years. Roger and Scilla Page
