Excellent hotel and location in Lincolns historic and cultural centre. Warm, friendly attentive staff. Nothing too much trouble. Our room was immaculately presented. Nice touches with bottle still and spring North Wales waters plus a couple of chocolate chip cookies wrapped in brown parchment to take home. We opted to dine in the restaurant in the evening. Excellent rib eye steak and, my wife's fish dish hit the mark as well. Breakfast next morning tasty, hot traditional English breakfast. Only minor detail they forgot our orange juice and some cutlery for our cereal. All in all a high class stay. We'll recommend Ed.

Staff all so wonderful, couldn’t do enough for us , each and every one of them from check in, to bar staff to restaurant staff. One girl moved her car for us to park because we were late arrivals. Rooms spacious, stylish, clean and airy : breakfast choice was good, delicious and included in price . Location is perfect for bailgate area at top of the steep hill near all the bars and restaurants

Only stayed one night, friendly and helpful staff. Was surprised to be informed there was no members of staff in the premises overnight, but there was a phone number to contact them. Room was good, with a very large comfortable bed, and good bathroom with shower. Was disappointed with the breakfast which has to be order the night before.

We had a lovely stay at the Duke William Hotel. The staff were very accommodating and friendly. The hotel has real character being an historic building but with modern facilities it makes this hotel a great place to stay if visiting Lincoln as the hotel is situated near to the city center. Our room was clean with a lovely large Super King size bed and our modern bathroom had both a bath and shower. The breakfast was excellent and the pub had a good range of drinks and food and had a lovely feel to it!

Great stay in a very good location.Staff were excellent and the room and large bed was lovely. Nice touches like complementary biscuits and water. Breakfast excellent. 5 minute walk to the incredible Lincoln Cathedral and the old part of town. Parking on site was very welcome.

It was our 53rd Wedding anniversary and the room was very good, comfortable and spacious. The breakfast and evening meal were well prepared and presented. Really enjoyed ourselves.

Very welcoming and helpful staff at this hotel/pub. Great location. Comfortable bed. Crisp linen and v fluffy towels. Food and beer in the pub/restaurant were v v good. Probably the best poached eggs I’ve ever had (breakfast). Location is brilliant if you’re visiting as a tourist. And there is an EV charger in the car park - which was a huge boon for us (NB currently the two chargers are labelled the wrong way round. So far CCS choose CHADaMO - the charging company are working on fixing the app asap tho - and v quick response from the support). It’s changed quite a bit since I used to come here in my youth (when I think it was just a pub). Still has great beer…

Absolutely gorgeous hotel, full of charm and character. Clean and comfortable with excellent service from all the staff. Kitchen prepared a perfect full English breakfast with top quality ingredients.
