Brilliant staff, very friendly and helpful. Good breakfast. Only downside was the parking situation. £10.00 per day with a risk of being blocked in (5 spaces only)when for a 10 yard walk to the main city car park (unlimited spaces) you can park for the same price.

We were totally amazed at the size of the suite. Decor was a little dated but really didnt make a difference to our stay. Staff helpful as we arrived early and they kept our luggage safe for us until check in time. Breakfast was a little disappointing.

Firstly this is an excellent hotel in a perfect location to explore historic Lincoln The parking at the hotel was limited ( and you paid extra for it ) but there was a fairly large car park just next to the hotel ( £10 a day ) The hotel staff were lovely and checking in was easy The hotel it’s self is looking a little tired, our room could have been laid out better, one of my pet peeves is no where to sit and have a mirror to do hair and makeup, our room had a lovely dressing table, but no plug socket close by The bed was a tad disappointing it’s only a double and the mattress felt old and was not comfortable , pillows were a bit lumpy too, But our room was clean and for the price we paid for it, and it being so central we would definitely stay here again if ever we come to Lincoln ( which we will )

This Hotel is nothing more than a glorified B&B. The breakfast was dreadful with very little choice I was at a table where two previous customers used plates

Very outdated and in urgent need of renovation. Too expensive for what you get. Breakfast Buffett is very poor.

We paid for a dulux room overlooking the castle. The room we were given had a large damp patch on ceiling and wall, smelt damp, the bath had a faulty plug and the hot tap came off in my hand. Staff were great and gave us another room but could only offer a standard room with no bath or view. The mattress wasnt comfortable. The room backed onto function room in use so we wasnt able to get to sleep until the function had ended. The hotel is in a beautiful building in a perfect location it just needs tlc

Room and staff were absolutely brilliant, however reception room looked tired and didn’t reflect the very high and modern standard of the en-suite bedroom. Didn’t give a great first impression, but the rest of the hotel was excellent.

A little tricky to get to. But it is central and great. We would have stayed another night but they were full.
