We booked this place based on great reviews and the kitchenette option for an extended stay at a conference so we could prepare most of our own meals. At first glance, the rooms are well laid out, good natural lighting, decent water pressure, good sitting area separated from the bedroom and a separate shower/toilet area from the main sink/mirror area. Front desk gal was super-friendly and efficient at check-in, and the room appeared as advertised on the website. The place clearly has great potential. But things quickly went south after first impressions, particularly with housekeeping. We unloaded food, suitcases, etc and got settled in and ready to prepare our first meal and found very little cookware or dishes on the shelves. Then we checked the dishwasher--it was full of dishes, which was great...but they hadn't been run. Not a deal-killer and it was late, so we ran the wash cycle and improvised. Then we found one of the trash cans didn't have a liner. Again, not a big deal, just inconvenient. Then we found the microwave turntable had old food and crumbs all over it. Gross, but could have been overlooked. Then the kleenex box gave up the last tissue and not a replacement in sight. Again, inconvenient, but not a big deal in and of itself. But when we finally prepared to go to bed and turned down the sheets, we stopped in our tracks. The linens had very obviously not been laundered or changed, housekeeping just re-made the very dirty, hairy and stained bedding. Disgusting. We called the front desk and the check-in clerk was very nice and apologetic, but all by herself with no support staff at all. However, she personally ran up fresh linens for us. We *****ped the bedding and re-made our own beds at 10:30pm, albeit with some apprehension about the pillows themselves, and made do. The front desk clerk said she'd leave a note for the manager to resolve this problem and said he would be there the next day. By noon we had not heard a word from the manager and so we went to the front desk personally and re-told the story directly to him. While he was polite, his response was incredibly benign and quite unhelpful. He even made mention that he'd heard similar complaints about other rooms! His sum total of a solution was ”I'll be sure to have some words with housekeeping. Thanks for letting me know about this.” Really!?!?! How about some words right now and getting housekeeping up to that room on the double and fixing the problem? How about offering to move us to another room? How about a discount for the dismal state of the room? I'm not a hotel manager but I can think of a dozen better ways to treat a guest than ”gee thanks, I'll talk to housekeeping and it sucks to be you, but enjoy your stay.” We're not confrontational people, and perhaps we should have asserted ourselves in a more robust manner, but given the manager's attitude, I don't think it would have mattered. However, we would be terribly remiss in not warning pot

The hotel being clean is the only reason I give this hotel anything above 1 star. First off, the lady at the front desk left us waiting for longer than we needed to as she was chatting with a customer that she apparently knew personally. This left us holding our heavy luggage for much longer than necessary. She also didn’t give us our Ambassador status gift bag OR hotel points, which makes this the only Marriott hotel out of the three we’ve stayed at this past 2 weeks that hasn’t. She wasn’t TOO rude though, so my husband and I brushed it off as maybe a one-off issue. Next, we encountered the night staff clerk while getting a late night snack. This guy is RUDE; he speaks in mostly grunts, and when he does reply with words, it’s something extremely uninterested-sounding & rude, like he’d rather be dead than talk to you. We tried paying for our snacks with a Marriott gift card we received in an email by our Marriott Ambassador, but he claimed there was “no way to do it” and completely gave up on helping in any way, despite the fact that we had already used part of the gift card at our previous hotel (AC Frisco) so it’s obviously possible. All in all, I don’t recommend this hotel. Go to the nearby Springhill Suites instead, they were much more friendly when we stayed there last week.
If you like sleeping on rigid pillows with no give that are a foot high…. This is your place. It’s like they only purchased the hard pillows your grandmother never meant anyone to sleep on just to decorate the bed. What kind of people sleep using pillows that could double as boat bumpers for a dock? I can’t be the only person that has stayed here that thinks this. It’s 11:12pm and I am already texting my chiropractor for the $70 neck adjustment I am going to need from this experience. I am about to pull out my t-shirts and stuff them in to replace the pillow in the pillow sack. It will be an improvement. I want to give this place a one star rating but the biking, decor and amenities are very nice. I’ll give it 3 stars.
訪訪客Beware of staying at this Residence Inn, as my experience has been permanently marred. The staff here engages in collective dishonesty, tarnishing the reputation of the entire establishment. I arrived at the extended stay hotel at 3 am on Christmas Eve and had previously called to ensure a smooth check-in process. Management assured me that a late check-in was possible. However, upon arrival, the hotel was deserted, and security informed me that Judy, a staff member, was at the Fairfield Inn across the parking lot due to a system outage. After a confrontation with Judy, during which she charged my card without prior notice, the situation escalated. It's important to note that these charges occurred while I was stranded on top of a mountain in snowy conditions. Despite the system outage, she insisted on a $400 security deposit, citing policy. Resigned and exhausted at 3 am, I agreed to use a different card. After our argument, Judy agreed to let me stay if I walked back to the Fairfield Inn (2725 Geyser Drive) to ask the manager, Matthew, if that was okay. So, reluctantly, I did. After explaining and apologizing the manager gave me a room key for a room at the Fairfield just for the night. He said go get some sleep but the room he gave me wasn't ready. When my fiancé expressed displeasure about the room and Judy, Matthew, decided to escalate the situation by calling 911 and falsely claiming my fiancé alone was refusing to leave. He NEVER mentioned me in his report. The following day, discovering additional charges on my account, I returned to the Residence Inn. The woman working day shift IMMEDIATLY began treating me differently because of the night prior. She plastered on a fake smile and then made excuses for helping out 3 other people even though I was there first! Then, instead of helping she provided false information about holds on my account in order to stall me until the her boss showed up. I endured all of this only to discover that the entire night shift fabricated a report about us being violent and aggressive and refusing to leave. The day shift manager fixed the issue and then I left. This experience was a nightmarish sequence of lies and mistreatment. The evening shift staff, particularly Judy, Matthew, and their small security guard. Should reflect on their actions. This Marriott has proven to be the worst I've ever encountered. Potential guests, especially disabled veterans, should exercise caution and explore alternatives such as the LA Quinta Inn across the street. Beware of deceptive reviews; the staff at this establishment appears to be unified in dishonesty, even towards disabled veterans.
This understated hotel was an excellent choice when needed while waiting for vacancy at my work retreat hotel. The shuttle service from airport was a short wait, worth it for the tips on the area from the driver. All staff I encountered were friendly and helpful. The pool and jacuzzi were nice amenities as well. The room was spacious and the bathroom counter was a treat for the female traveler. The bed allowed me the best sleep I have had while on travel in a long time, truly! I recommend this hotel. The basics are delivered spectacularly.
So we check in. The “balcony” looked out into the 2nd floor entry doors. No view at all. The bathroom had a dim light circling the mirror and that was the only light. The bathroom had only one towel. We called for an extra and when delivered there were 3 others on a shelf in the closet. The small extra sink outside the bathroom had no light over it. I was told that lots of things were that way (towels in closet ) because it was an “accessible” room. Seriously? We also received breakfast tickets at check in. However we found out we had to make breakfast reservations . And then we got to our dining room in the evening “they were ready to close “ We’d made on line reservations yesterday and apparently today was the first day of new hours which had not been transferred t on line yet. The staff left did seat and serve us and were very nice . There are golf carts that can take you from one building to another for dinner etc because everything is so spread out There was never one readily available. The people who drove us were staff from other departments, not transportation. Where were they? No “ manager was on duty that evening when we requested to speak to one. All in all a stay that gave me a headache. Found out as we were checking out that ownership is in the process of transferring to the Hyatt in a day or two and everything is “changing”. One can only hope so. To be fair, it according to some staff “ It didn’t used to be like this”
JJohn BThe room was very clean and comfortable. Check in was simple and quick. The breakfast was average but the worker was very friendly. Probably the only reason I did not give the hotel a 5 was because of the $10 nightly charge to park. I am very use to paying for parking but not where there is an empty lot and large parking area.
Eep4755532We were really excited to stay in this hotel as it was the final hotel on our trip and we were ready to relax by the pool, however, it was an awful experience to stay at this hotel. We never normally review hotels, yet we had to make people aware before they chose this hotel. We would not recommend this hotel to anyone due to the following reasons: Negatives: - EXTREMELY thin walls and doors adjoining both neighbouring hotel rooms, which resulted in us being woken up at 2am, 4am and 7:30am due to people talking, taking showers etc. There was a 2cm gap at the bottom of the doors! - The swimming pool was closed for cleaning the whole time we were there, and no notice was given to us - Low shower head which made it awkward to shower as we had to bend to wash our hair - Dirty bath when we arrived - Two unprofessional members of staff when speaking to one at breakfast, and also overhearing one have a conversation with another member of staff which happened right in front of me at check-in - Very limited options at breakfast, unless you paid for items separately The only positive was that the bed was large and comfortable. It is such a shame that we wasted our money. We hope that we have shed light on the reality of staying at this hotel.
