A really lovely place to stay. Well appointed rooms, good food and attentive staff. What more could you need? Oh yes, and a brilliant location.

Better than expected,I am tempted to return for couple of nights out of season to avoid the summer crowds. The location is excellent.

This is a fantastic hotel to come away for a complete experience. The hotel is clean , comfortable, the food is amazing And the staff are always attentive. plenty of beautiful walks so if you don’t want to get the car out, you don’t have to. Or just a short drive There are some fantastic areas to visit. Once again, thank you The Belmont .

Nice hotel good location ample parking, Good food excellent selection served by efficient friendly staff. Comfortable bed, clean room and bathroom, Tea/Coffee and bottled water replenished every day. All non waiting staff friendly and helpful.

Very enjoyable stay in this lovely hotel. The cream tea as part of the Devon Experience Special Offer was a disappointment though was quickly rectified

Stayed 4 nights and enjoyed every one. We look forward to being able to use the overdue Spa facilities

This was our first time staying at the Belmont Hotel, what a joy to find such a great hotel that still has good quality and service at affordable prices. My only regret is that, as we only booked for. 3 nights I wished that could have been for longer. I have provisionally booked for a.weeks stay for next year though.

Have just returned from an excellent 8 days at this lovely hotel, the whole hotel is spotlessly clean throughout there are beautiful lounges situated overlooking the sea. The restaurant is light and airy the food is excellent with a varied menu, service is attentive without being overpowering. Being situated behind the hotels putting green it is back from the road making it a ideal place to relax. It is situated well back from the promenade convenient for a stroll along to the town. The whole hotel is very professionally managed with the staff reflecting this ethos but still friendly and helpful

Lovely hotel, fabulous location, food excellent, room with a sea view cant be faulted. Garden very tranquil . Only bad feature were a few staff members bickering with each other in front of the guests, which was a little like an episode from Fawlty Towers. Highly recommended and will visit again in the near future
